communication light in connection with the free app. The attractive
sensor-switched light does not just illuminate your entrance area, but also transmits
razor-sharp images to your smartphone or tablet thanks to its high-quality camera. The Integrated
intercom unit enables you to communicate with the person at the door in real time – conveniently and without effort from anywhere in the world, or simply from the couch.

The sensor-switched CAM is the first Wi-Fi-based camera light from STEINEL and is always in touch with you via app. As soon as the high-precision infrared motion sensor detects movement,
the light is switched ON and you receive a message on your mobile device. The precision-
adjustable camera transmits images of your entrance area to your smartphone
or tablet via Wi-Fi and provides you with the option of interacting. You can see and hear exactly
what is happening outside your front door, and can communicate from your smartphone or tablet
via the built-in intercom unit. As soon as movement is detected,
the images taken are saved to an SD card installed in the light.

Die Konfiguration mit Wlan funktionierte beim mir nicht. Nach mehreren Telefonaten mit der Hotline war dies noch immer erfolglos. Ich sollte die Lampe zu Steinel zurücksenden. Nach zwei Wochen bekam ich eine Lampe (die Selbe oder eine Neue ist nicht bekannt) kommentarlos zurück.
Hatte das selbe Problem wieder. Bei erneutem Anruf der Hotline bekam ich nun die Info dass es Probleme mit iOS 13 gäbe. Ich solle es mit einer alten Version iOS 12x versuchen. Zum Glück hatte ich noch ein altes iPad mit iOS 12 im Haushalt. Damit konnte die Verbindung zum Router endlich hergestellt werden. Leider viel wertvolle Zeit vergeudet !!!
Weiterhin habe ich im Betrieb festgestellt, wenn der Router herunter fährt und wieder startet finden die Lampe das Wlan nicht mehr selbstständig. Sie muss dazu separat aus und wieder an geschaltet werden. Das sollte so nicht sein.
Zusammengefasst: Noch sehr unausgereift !!!
App mit Tücken auch in der neuen Version
Die Kombination Kamera und App funktioniert o.k. Die Zeit zum aufrufen der App und der Verbindung zur Kamera und somit der Anzeige des Bildes wer vor der Tür steht ist besser geworden ... dauert aber immer noch recht lang. Von unterwegs verständlich, aber wenn sich alles im gleichen W LAN befindet zu lange. Eine Funktion das Livebild direkt aufzurufen fehlt, es muss immer erst die App gestartet, auf das Livebild geklickt werden ... und abwarten bis die Verbindung aufgebaut ist. Meist haben es ja Postboten eilig ....
Auch das aufrufen von gespeicherten Aufnahmen, holprig. Mehr bedien Komfort wäre Wünschens wert ... das Umschalten zwischen dem 31.x zum 1.x ... nur über App Neustart möglich.
Ich würde die Kamerleuchte trotzdem kaufen da es an Alternativen fehlt die Ihr Daten auch innerhalb von Deutschland speichern.
Keine Benachrichtigungen mehr nach Firmwareaktualisierung
Leider bekomme ich auf meinem iPhone 6 keine Benachrichtigungen mehr. Auf dem iPad habe ich keine Probleme. Leider habe ich jedoch mein iPhone täglich dabei. Des Weiteren werden leider nicht alle Bewegungen erkannt. Kann die Lampe auch Tiere wie Katzen, Hunde etc. erkennen? Ansonsten ist es eine tolle Lampe. Ich würde jedoch gerne das Bild auf meinem PC betrachten bzw. außerhalb der App. Es wäre schön wenn ihr hier nachbessern könntet.
