Scam app and you transfer your rights to them

Scam app that is intended to only collect your information for resale.
1. You can’t use the app without an account
2. The TOS clearly states that using the app, all the information, scanned data, rights and etc belongs to them 100% and they can do whatever they want. This means, if you scan your house or use for work, the data belongs to them and you cannot do anything against and they can use fir anything they want.
3. There is a conflict between the privacy conditions vs TOS. One says you can use the app without the need for an account but the other says you need. This is a huge red flag and the company may not even honor their contract

There are so many falsehoods in this review. Although we are a small business, we are a venture backed startup with investment from Foundry Group and Intel Capital. We aren't criminals and scammers. On your points: 1. Of course you need an account. Most apps require accounts. How else are we supposed to send you the finished files that you're paying for? 2. First, this is not true. Second, your data is yours. We do have a "research opt-in" -- which is clearly visible in the checkout flow and defaults to unchecked -- that allows people to agree to let us use the scan data for research purposes in training our AI models. If you don't check the box, we don't use your data at all. But unfortunately the way terms of service are written, we have to make them broad enough to cover both cases. 3. Ugh. We added account creation as a feature a few years ago and apparently didn't catch this discrepancy in the two documents, because again, we're a small business and clerical issues tend to slip through the cracks. Thanks for pointing it out. Perhaps next time you see something like this you can helpfully email the team that built the product instead of calling them criminals.
