CarboCeption is used to determine carbohydrate tolerances by conducting a validated test. The purpose is to detect food intolerances if you think that your life is affected by food-specific abdominal complaints, especially if you suspect specific foods which you want to test.

CarboCeption can help you learn more about the connection between your wellbeing and eating habits and combinations of foods and help you regain control over your abdominal wellbeing, your nutrition and your life, and enjoy eating.

Carbohydrate intolerance is identified by appearance of symptoms after intake of food containing poorly absorbable carbohydrates like, among others, lactose, fructose, xylitol or dietary fibers. These carbohydrates may be present, among others, in milk products, fruit, vegetables, or desserts. Detection of carbohydrate intolerance requires repeated symptom measurements after eating or drinking the suspected food. Valid symptom measurements require a science-based test as used in this app.

Unlike with some other test, you don't have to spend time in a laboratory or doctor’s office because you can do the test in the comfort of your home or workplace. The CarboCeption App will provide the results right after the test is completed and you will immediately receive recommendations for your symptom control and your eating.
