Keep in touch with your friends, family, business associates, and anyone else in your iOS Contacts list with CatchUp. Set reminders for the contacts you choose, and get notified when it's time to CatchUp with them again.

Set these up as recurring reminders, like every week or month, or a custom day that you pick. Regardless of your choice, you can choose the time of day that you get the notification.

Step One: Add Contacts
Step Two: Set your Notification Preference (how often you want to be reminded to catch up with that individual)
Step Three: There is no step three

Features:
– Receive daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual, or custom reminders to catch up with your contacts, even when not connected to the internet
– Automatic reminders for contacts' birthdays/anniversaries if you have them set in your Contacts app
- A grid of your upcoming catchups
- Unread indicators for contacts it's time to CatchUp with
- Pull down on the home screen to update your contacts' pictures and information
- Automatic cloud syncing with other Apple devices
– Full light and dark mode support
– No ads

CatchUp is free and has no ads. This is a passion project that honestly helps me out, and I'd rather not muddy the waters with advertising I can't control. If you'd like to support development, you are welcome to leave a tip in the Tip Jar within the app.

Nerd stuff:
– 99% of the user interface was built with SwiftUI. The contact picker is the only bridge into UIKit
– All persistence/storage is done with SwiftData. I don't store any of your data on my servers

Great App easy to use.

iCloud synchronisation would be great. Maybe in one of the next version? What’s good to is that you have the full functionality without paying anything. But you can pay if you like the app

Hi there! I've added iCloud sync as of v3.0. It will only work if you're signed in to the same Apple ID on each device. I hope that works for you. And thank you for the kind words!

Übernahme von Kontakten fehlerhaft

Die App hat Potenzial und ist auch im Großen und Ganzen gut. Bei der Übernahme aus den Kontakten wird die internationale Ländervorwahl, z.B. +49 in eine 0 umgewandelt. Dies ist natürlich für einen Nutzer mit internationalen Kontakten völlig sinnlos. Wenn dieser Fehler behoben wird, gibt’s von mir fünf Sterne.

Hallo! Danke für die Bewertung. Ab Version 3.1.3 (heute veröffentlicht) behalte ich jetzt die internationale Landesvorwahl für Telefonnummern bei. Ich hoffe, dass die App jetzt besser für Sie funktioniert. Und ich entschuldige mich für die schlechte Grammatik. Ich verwende Google Translate, um dies auf Deutsch zu schreiben.

Great app with potential

I like the app as it helps me to catchUp with former colleagues and family members (I have a hug family).
However, the following features would help to improve its usability/customer experience:
- an indicator on the app icon shows me that I have to catchUp with someone, entering the app doesn’t highlight with whom I need to catchUp. Notifications in the control Center etc help, but sometimes you accidentally swipe them away and here we go - no clue who to contact
- a notification option that allows to remind in 1 hour, in the afternoon / evening / next morning
- as already mentioned by someone else, more possibilities to set up reminders, like bi-weekly, etc
- possibility to group the people, like former colleagues, family, etc
- possibility to set reminders that affect all people writhing the specific group. That way I can create a group like ‘weekly’ and set the reminder to remind me to catchUp with those people weekly on a specific day/random and a specific time/random
- instead of scrolling through the hours/minutes, use the feature apple is using since iOS14 and allow to enter the time directly
- adding contacts doesn’t offer a search, helps to initially find the contacts to add them
