SHARE TO CLIMB
1. Select any word in Safari or in any other app.
2. Tap "Share".
3. Choose "Define in Climb" to get the word's definition and automatically add it to your practice list.

While most of the Climb's functionality is free (daily practice, adding words, GIFs in the dictionary, explore lists), in order to play word games, you will be prompted to subscribe with a free 7-day trial. If you choose to purchase Subscription, payment will be charged to your iTunes account, and your account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period. Auto-renewal may be turned off at any time by going to your settings in the iTunes Store after purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription to that publication, where applicable.
We offer the following subscription durations: 1 month, 3 months, and 12 months.

Gut aber zu teuer
Die kurze Probe Lektion, die man kostenlos machen konnte, schien sehr gut und lange überlegte ich, vllt doch zu bezahlen. Aber 8€ im Monat ist einfach viel zu teuer. Ich glaube das leisten sich wenige Leute gern. Sicher wollt ihr für eure viele Arbeit an der App auch etwas bekommen, aber wäre es doch schön, vllt 2,99€ anzusetzen. Dann würden sicherlich auch viel mehr Leute die App bezahlen, schließlich ist die Art zu lernen cool und die Wörter auch endlich mal anspruchsvoll.
Hab die App jetzt aber erstmal wieder gelöscht.
Ich finde auch es sollte in der Beschreibung erwähnt werden, das es Preise gibt und wie hoch sie sind, damit man nicht mitten im fröhlichen ausprobieren der App überrumpelt wird.
Könnte gut sein, aber ...
Man kommt sich doch etwas verschaukelt vor, wenn die App als kostenlos angeboten wird und man sich einen Account und so weiter anlegt, nur um dann festzustellen, dass es letztlich keine echte Möglichkeit gibt die App ohne Abo zu nutzen. Nichts gegen Abos, aber das sollte dann auch entsprechend von Beginn an deutlich gemacht werden.

Unsere App bietet viele kostenlose Funktionen: Vokabeltest, GIF-Animationen für alle Wörter, Word Analyzer (eine einzigartige Funktion), GIF des Tages und sogar kognitive Sprachspiele. Darüber hinaus heißt es in der Beschreibung der App, dass die Tests nur mit Abonnement verfügbar sind.
