Description
View any EAGLE CAD file on your iPhone or iPad and generate realtime photorealistic images of your PCB in real time. Touch your PCB and share with the world.
Open any EAGLE CAD file (from version 6 and above) directly on your iPhone and investigate the PCB layout and schematics with your finger. Select parts and signals, manage parts and Bill of Materials.
Copper creates 3D versions of your PCB including parts that you assign from our extensive 3D model library to your footprints. Copper then renders a photorealistic representation in real time that you can touch, rotate and move in a virtual studio. Setup lights and materials like the solder mask or the floor.
Import EAGLE files from any source like the web (just download a ZIP file with EAGLE files), from Github, your Dropbox, or send PCB files directly via Airdrop, Mail or iMessage to your iPhone or iPad.
Every file you import is kept in Coppers library. This way you can build up a nice library of PCBs and Schematics right in your pocket.
Copper is also available for the Mac and both share the same codebase and file format.

Useful tool
I am using Eagle on a professional base and I was looking for an Eagle viewer for iPad as a „nice to have thing“. Since this app is not expensive, the risk is about zero, so I have installed it.
I have tested this with recent Eagle 9.0 files and also Eagle 8.x files. Both versions can be opened with this app and I am quite satisfied with the result. Signals can be highlighted easily and show in board view and schematic view. Excellent, that‘s what I wanted. You can also highlight parts, which is also useful. I have not tried 3d view, because it is not important for me. There is also a bom generator, which shows a basic part list. This might be helpful, I don‘t know... a partlist doesn‘t drop out of eagle, I think... anyways, this feature works.
The weak part of the viewer are the copper pours in board view. Especially, when the copper polygone is bigger than the board outlines (some people do such things) it is not correct at all. When copper polygones are within the board dimension, it works better, but it is not flawless. It is possible to switch off the pours.
To import your designs to this tool, you need to copy it to dropbox and download it from there. I would appreciate, if I could download it from my network.
This is a nice tool, definitely worth the money and always great for impressing colleagues and customers.

Nice, but Beta
I really like this app and hope, it will be further developed soon, because I know no other way to display Eagle drawings on Apple Mobile Devices.
At the moment (08/2017) 3D Display crashes down on iPad (not on iPhone). Libraries of 3D need some more components - like always a question of how many people work with it.
Additional, some more ways for file import are recommendable, it is a bit troublesome to import. Some kind of cloud for your devices world be great, too. So your files are identical on different devices. Perhaps by
