Description
DentalMonitoring is designed to help dental professionals monitor the evolution of their patients’ orthodontic treatments remotely, between in-practice appointments. It can only be used under the supervision of a clinician, who provides patients with their personal login information.
The DentalMonitoring app is intended to be used with the patented DM ScanBox and DM Cheek Retractor, to maximize the quality of each intraoral picture taken with patients’ smartphones.
If you’re a patient, the app provides:
• Ease of use: No technical expertise is needed to use DentalMonitoring. An in-app tutorial is available explaining how to take good intra-oral pictures.
• Convenience: With regular screening of the orthodontic treatment evolution, from the comfort of home.
• Control: Regular monitoring can help prevent potential treatment complications.
• Communication: Patients receive specific notifications and advice from their practitioner via the app, and can send messages, too.
• Motivation: Patients see their treatment progress with a before/after comparison, and stay motivated throughout their treatment with achievement statistics.
If you’re a dental professional, the app provides:
• Control: Remotely monitor the evolution of patients’ treatments, track potential issues and set clinical goals for complete monitoring of treatment progression.

Echt cool!
Witzige App. Dachte am Anfang des kann doch nix sein, wenn eine App entscheidet ob du die Schienen wechseln darfst oder nicht.
Ich benutze die App mit der „Fotobox“, die ich vom Arzt mit bekommen habe. Funktioniert sehr gut! Zähne werden ordentlich fotografiert und der Arzt bekommt automatisch alles zugesendet und entscheidet dann ob gewechselt werden darf.
In der App ist alles übersichtlich dargestellt. Man sieht welche Schiene drin ist, welche die nächste ist und wie dein Fortschritt ist. Dh man kann die Veränderung der Zähne im Zeitraffer sehen. Schaut witzig aus und man erkennt was es bringt. :)
Sehr praktischer Begleiter bei Behandlung
Diese App erinnert immer dann, wenn ich die Scans machen muss und ist sehr einfach zu bedienen. Beim Scan wird man genau hingewiesen, was machen muss und in welche Richtung man die Kamera drehen muss etc.
Da ich nicht jede zweite Woche zum Kieferorthopäde gehen möchte, ist diese App eine wunderbare Möglichkeit direkt im Chat mit dem Arzt zu kommunizieren. Würde mir wünschen, dass andere Bereiche in unserem Gesundheitssystem genau so digitalisiert werden (wo es natürlich geht)
Sehr gute, motivierende und unterstützende App
Ich arbeite jetzt seit 10 Wochen mit der App und finde sie wirklich sehr gut gelungen. Das Sammeln der Abzeichen unterstützt zusätzlich mental beim Tragen bzw. regelmäßigen Anwenden der App. Man kann den eigenen Fortschritt gut anhand der gegenüberstehenden Bilder der Zähne sehen. Also wirklich sehr gut gelungen.
