We decided to publish the interactive story Duskwood in episodes. Not to annoy you - quite the contrary! It was important to us that you could start right away, even though the game is not finished. While you're already searching for Hannah, solving puzzles and making decisions, we're working on the sequel.

HOW TO PLAY? DECISION GAMES, TEXT ADVENTURES, CYOA? WHAT IS THIS?
You are connected to your friends in Duskwood via chat messenger. This allows you to receive pictures, videos, voice messages and even phone calls. Your answers, choices and decisions influence what others reveal of themselves, whether they like you, and even change the course of the story. This type of role play game (rpg) is also called text adventure, cyoa, decision- or choice games. It belongs to the genre of interactive fiction.

Bester Text-Thriller überhaupt
Das Spiel ist wirklich das interessanteste Spiel, dass ich kenne. Durch die Texte und Anrufe fühlt es sich wirklich so an als wäre dieses Spiel Realität. Dass man mit Instagram oder dem Internet arbeiten darf macht das ganze so real. Am Anfang wären die Minispiele noch relativ schwer und ich bin oft beinahe verzweifelt. Aber an alle die gerade in dieser Phase sind: Ab Episode 2,5 werden die Spiele deutlich leichter und ihr kommt schneller voran. Das ist auch gut so, denn sonst hätte ich das Spiel irgendwann deinstalliert. Trotzdem ein wahnsinnig cooles Spiel. Man kann es komplett ohne Kosten durchspielen, aber ich würde eich empfehlen die Premium-Version zu kaufen, da man dadurch viel mehr Inhalte wie Videos, Bilder und so weiter sehen kann. Was mich an der Episode 5 ein wenig stört ist, dass wenn man kein Premium es einen deutlich mehr einschränkt. In den vorherigen Versionen konnte man nur Videos und Bilder nicht sehen und spezielle Textnachrichten schicken, doch ab Episode 5 ist man ohne Premium gezwungen unfreundlich zu den Leuten zu sein. Das war zuvor nicht so.
Trotzdem tolle Episode 5. Und generell ein Hammer-Spiel! Ich hoffe nur, dass der Fall aber auch bald gelöst wird. Auf jeden Fall möchte ich aber das Spiel weiterspielen. Mann könnte ja neue Fälle mit ganz neuen Personen erstellen.
Ziemlich gut
Das Spiel ist wirklich eins der besten Spiele die ich in dieser Art kenne. Auch ist die Story mega gut und man Fieber wirklich mit. Auch wird man nicht gezwungen Geld auszugeben. Klar ist es hin und wieder nervig wenn man manche Aktionen/Antworten nur mit der Premium variieren machen kann, was aber kein Kritikpunkt ist, da das Spiel schließlich gratis ist und die Entwickler viel Zeit und Aufwand in das Spiel gesteckt haben und natürlich auch Geld verdienen sollen.
Mein einziger Kritikpunkt sind die Minigames. Meiner Meinung nach sind sie teilweise zu schwer oder zu häufig bzw. zu wenig Interaktion dazwischen. So passiert es manchmal dass man Tage an einem Minispsiel hängt, da es einfach zu schwer ist (für mich). Auch wäre hier ein bisschen mehr Abwechslung schön da das Prinzip ja doch immer das Gleiche ist. Ich versteh zwar weshalb es diese gibt, doch ein bisschen Variation in die Spiele hineinzubringen wäre meiner Meinung nach am besten.
Allerdings ist das kein großes Minus da man sich danach immer umso mehr auf das chatten freut wenn man endlich die Minispiele geschafft hat.
Ganz anderes Level 🤩
Ich bin von dem Spiel einfach nur begeistert. Die Story fesselt einen richtig und man versinkt total darin. Es ist auch alles sehr realistisch gestaltet - als ich Duskwood zum ersten Mal gespielt hab, bin ich kurz erschrocken, als im Game ein „Anruf“ auftauchte 😂 Habe auch für 5€ die Pro-Version gekauft, bei der man zusätzliche Materialien zur Verfügung gestellt bekommt, womit das Spielen einfach noch ein bisschen mehr Spaß macht. Meiner Meinung nach lohnen sich die 5€ absolut - wenn man mal darüber nachdenkt, wie viel Arbeit und wahrscheinlich auch Herzblut in diese App gesteckt wurde, finde ich den Preis mehr als fair. Dass man zwischendurch die kleinen Minispiele machen muss, fand ich persönlich gar nicht mal so schlimm, das hat mich wenigstens daran gehindert, das Spiel komplett in einem durch zu suchten 🤭 Wenn ich etwas ändern könnte, würde ich vllt die Textgeschwindigkeit noch ein bisschen schneller einstellen (man hat bereits 3 Tempos zur Auswahl), aber das ist wirklich meckern auf sehr hohem Niveau. Alles in allem ein sehr spannendes Spiel, welches ich wärmstens weiterempfehlen kann! Ich bin absoluter Fan und warte schon ganz gespannt auf Episode 9 🥳
