Zeilenabstand, Schriftgröße und Energieverbrauch
Ich lese seit Jahren meine eBooks mit anderen Apps, seit einer Woche habe ich diese App und das Fazit ist: Ich lese die gekauften Bücher hier schnell durch und dann wird deinstalliert.
1. die Schriftgrößenverstellung ist ein Witz, entweder Mini oder Maxi, aber ein richtiges Mittelmaß gibt es nicht
2. der Zeilenabstand ist fix, und zwar so, dass der im "Keller" liegende Teil von den Buchstaben g, j, q und y abgeschnitten wird.
3. Mein Akku hält normalerweise 2-3 Tage, seitdem ich die App installiert habe bin ich nach etwas mehr als 12 Stunden auf 7% runter. Was macht diese App denn bitte? Sie ist zum lesen gedacht. Wieviele Daten muss sie dafür verarbeiten, abrufen, aktualisieren etc. ? Ich habe langsam den Verdacht dass sie im Hintergrund, auch wenn sie nich an ist, viel mehr macht als ich wissen will.
Wie gesagt, sie wird bei nächster Gelegenheit deinstalliert.
nicht zeitgemäß
neben der tatsache, dass man ebooks „lesen“ kann, ist die optik, das handling und die funktionalität leider nicht „up to date“:
• fehlende seitengröße optimierung,
• fehlende textauswahl für eigene highlights
• ein „gedächtnis“, wo man das letzte mal aufgehört hat zu lesen, um dann dort weiterzulesen.
• icons nehmen zu viel „leseplatz“ ein

wäre super, wenn die programmierer hier nachbessern würden!!!!
Schriftgrösse nicht änderbar, kaum Komfort
Bei Änderungen der Schriftgrösse werden nur Pro- und Epilog geändert, der eigentliche Buchtext bleibt statisch (zu klein). Zudem kann ich innerhalb der einzelnen Kapitel keine Seiten blättern, sondern muss im Kapitel scrollen. Nervt. Und wenn man dann aus Versehen links oder rechts auf den Bildschirm tippt, springt die App ins vorherige oder nächste Kapitel. Springt man dann zurück, ist man wieder am Kapitelanfang und muss die Stelle suchen, an der man gerade war. Nervt.
Lesezeichen im Kapitel gehen auch nicht. Und Nachschlagen von Wörtern im (Apple)Wörterbuch auch nicht. So bekommt man niemanden von den Amazon- oder Apple-Büchern weg.
Kann natürlich auch am EPUB mit Kopierschutz liegen. Dann sollte man aber eine App empfehlen, die das auch kann.
