How does emmy work?
Download the app and start riding your moped.
The emmy app is your key to scooter happiness. Use it to find an electric scooter nearby, reserve it and unlock it. So easy, so emmy.
emmy will take care of the rest - we charge the e-scooters so they're ready to roll. You'll find two helmets of different sizes, and a mobile phone holder so you can get around the city.
Creating your emmy account is simple:
1. Download the emmy app and register with a one-time fee of 4,95€ that gives you 15 mins for free riding.
2. Sign up & verify your EU or EEA driver's license: as soon as your account is approved, you can ride our electric mopeds.
3. Ride: it’s time to roll! Use the app to find an electric moped near you and reserve it for free.
4. End your rental: park your emmy scooter in a public parking lot within our business area to end your rental.
How do you start emmy electric moped?
1. Open the helmet box: Press the red button and grab a helmet from the box.
2. Get it off the kickstand: Stand with the moped between your legs and push the handlebars forward.
3. Green switch is flipped to “Ready”. Make sure that the green switch on the right handlebar is flipped to “Ready” and the side stand is fully folded. If you ride Yadea, push the “P-button”.
4. Start the engine: To start the moped, simultaneously pull the moped brake to activate it and press the “Down” switch on the left handlebar.
Our fleet of electric mopeds:
In Berlin you can ride a NIU e-scooter. Its lightweight design makes it ideal for city riding and commuting. The Yadea e-moped can be spotted roaming the streets in Hamburg and Munich.
It's best to park mopeds on the street in designated parking for mopeds. Don't park in bike lanes, bus lanes, or pedestrian walkways.
How much does it cost to register with emmy?
Register for a one-time fee of 4,95€ and get 15 free minutes for your first trip (valid for 3 months).

Habe mich am Dienstag registriert und meine Fahrerlaubnis wurde fix innerhalb eines halben Tages verifiziert. Das lief super. Danach nur noch Frust! Habe am Donnerstag zu Hause einen Roller in der Nähe reserviert. Gehe hin. Stand davor und die App lädt nicht. Dann nach 4mal auf und zu, startete die App, aber es gab technische Probleme. Also Moia. Später dann wieder versucht (6-8h später). App startet..yes..Auf Roller reservieren geklickt und dann Ladekreis..der rotierte und rotierte..3 min gewartet.. Dann wieder Fehler. U-Bahn gefahren. Nun werde ich dieser App gleich einen letzten Versuch geben. Bleiben wir gespannt!Update: Das Ausliehen ging heute nun (fast) reibungsfrei. Hatte ein wenig Probleme den Scooter zum Starten zu bringen, aber dank der fixen Hilfe vom Callcenter (ging sofort jemand ran), konnte wir die Fahrt genießen. Die Roller sind echt stark. Werde das wohl jetzt öfter benutzen und hoffe, dass die Störung zu Beginn nur eine Ausnahme war.

Ich freue mich, dass es Emmy nun endlich auch in Hamburg gibt und wollte gleich loslegen. Die App ist meiner Meinung nach noch verbesserungswürdig. Oft habe ich einen blanc-Screen beim tippen auf verschiedene Auswahlmöglichkeiten. Der Verifizierungsprozess wird als schnell und einfach angepriesen. Ich habe nach 2 Tagen immer noch keine Verifizierung erhalten und auch keine E-Mail, dass meine Verifizierung aus welchen Gründen auch immer nicht durchgeführt werden kann, oder wiederholt werden muss. Sehr schade. Habe mich sehr drauf gefreut, am Wochenende mit dem Roller rumzufahren, daraus wird wohl nichts.

Heute angemeldet, alles schnell und einfach funktioniert. Kurze Fragen mit dem Support geklärt, ohne Probleme erste Fahrt gemacht, alles super. Nur leider sind die Roller teilweise sehr beschädigt: Sturzschaden rechts und links, Sitzbank aufgeschnitten. Klar, können die Leute im Support nichts dafür. Ich finde es etwas traurig, dass einige Leute so mit Sachen umgehen, die ihnen nicht gehören. Schaden schnell gemeldet. Ich würde es aber besser finden, wenn man vorher 2-3 Bilder vom Roller machen müsste und hinterher, damit man gleich sieht, dass die Schäden vorher schon da waren. Dann das zweite Problem: Der Support sagt, dass man nicht im roten Bereich parken darf. Ich konnte im normalen Bereich nicht parken, sondern nur im roten Bereich. Dann finde ich es komisch, dass sie erst später Geld über Paypal abbuchen sollen, die sich doch gleich holen wie andere Apps. Die App funktioniert seit 2 Stunden nicht mehr, immer wieder Fehlermeldung. Also, es gibt noch so 2-3 Probleme. Ich finde das Prinzip aber ziemlich gut, gerade für die Stadt zu empfehlen.

Wenn die Anmeldeemail nicht ankommt , geht nicht mehr weiter. Mal sehen, wie schnell der Support ist.Der Support war schnell und ja, sie kam nicht an und man kann es ohne Support nicht lösen.
