Description
Eter Radio is an app for listening to Internet radio stations. Eter Radio is available in a universal version for macOS, iOS, iPadOS, watchOS and tvOS.
Eter Radio uses the publicly available radio-browser.info database, which contains a collection of free and publicly available Internet radio stations.
Eter for iOS, iPadOS and macOS offers a hand-crafted list of recommended stations and the ability to search radio-browser.info for other radio stations. To be able to save favorite stations, you must unlock the program with a one-time In-App Purchase. (The price in the App Store may vary depending on the country and the local currency rate). Eter on tvOS and watchOS works as a companion app. If you've upgraded to Premium, you can play your favorites on these platforms too.
Enjoy unlimited listening with Eter on any Apple anything, including CarPlay, for free.

What’s New
Version 2.3
We're excited to bring you Eter 2.3, with new features and improvements you’ve asked for, along with the ongoing bug fixes we add to every release. Um, until we run out of bugs! Here’s what we’ve added:
Shazam Support
- You can enable Shazam automatic song recognition in Settings. Once activated, Eter will periodically use Shazam on the stream audio to enhance song metadata in the player, improving recognition accuracy. This means you can see what’s playing (and choose to copy it to the clipboard or open in Apple Music) even when the stream does not provide track metadata.
- Permissions: Shazam requires microphone access, but within Eter, it only listens to the audio being played through the app, not your actual microphone.
- By default, Shazam recognition will be enabled for all favorite stations. You can customize this by enabling or disabling it per station in the favorites list; tap the Edit pencil to see this and other per-station settings
Additional Enhancements
- Added a preference to choose whether newly added favorite stations appear at the top or bottom of the list.
- Fixed an issue where new stations added to the top of the list didn't always appear in the first position.

Läuft auf allem, getestet mit iPhone, iPad, Watch und MacBook mit AppleSilikon. Über iCloud perfekt Synchronisiert. Eine Historie ist ebenfalls vorhanden. Sofern die Sender natürlich die Info liefern. Wenn die Songinfo's vorhanden sind kann man durch klick auf das Bild diret in Apple-Msic den Song sehen. Manuell kann man auch eigene Streaming URL‘s hinterlegen. Nett ist auch dass Songbilder eingeblendet werden. Mit den üblichen Tasten kann man auch die Sender wechseln ohne die App zu öffnen. Also an den AirPods doppelt klicken für weiter und es wird auf den nächsten Sender der Favoriten -Liste gewechselt beispielsweise. In der vorhandenen Datenbank habe ich auch alle Sender gefunden die mich interessieren.

Schöne kleine Radioapp, die genau das macht, was sie soll - unkompliziert Radiosender abszuspielen. Schnell, klar und ohne Firlefanz. Habe gerne die Vollversion gekauft, um die Entwicklung zu unterstützen.
