Do you ever explain “computer stuff” to other people? Instead of writing long winded emails filled with screenshots, or spending time on the phone, use the Explainer app.

With the app you can capture multiple snapshots into a single image.

Explainer app is for those times when a single screenshot is not enough, but a screen recording too much of a hassle.

HOW IT WORKS:

1. Capture up to eight pictures of your screen

2. Arrange them into a sequence of steps

3. Add instructions if needed

4. Share via email, Facebook, etc., or save as image file

USE THIS APP WHEN:

- You have to explain a sequence of steps

DO NOT USE THIS APP WHEN:

- A single screenshot is good enough

- Things are too complex to express in 4 to 8 steps (consider a screen recording app)

Spitze!

Die negative Bewertung hat vermutlich eine prägende Windows-Laufbahn als Vorgeschichte oder sie ist via Copy Paste bei der falschen App gelandet. Diese App hier tut haargenau, was sie soll. Und zwar absolut zuverlässig und auch über mehrere Monitore hinweg. Wer's nicht glaubt, probiert einfach die fast uneingeschränkte kostenlose Version. Und dankt dem Entwickler später. Denn diese App ist kinderleicht zu bedienen und liefert herausragende Ergebnisse. Meiner Meinung nach ein MUSS auf jedem Mac. Schade, dass ich sie erst jetzt entdeckt habe, aber sie wird mir ab sofort täglich SEHR hilfreich sein. Und Dir auch - nimm Dir drei Minuten! Es lohnt sich!

Kleines und feines Programm

Mit Explainer visualisiere ich Abläufe über Screenshots, anstatt sie umständlich aufzuschreiben. Ich benutze das Programm seit fast einem Jahr regelmäßig und es läuft reibungslos und stabil unter macOS Catalina. Der Support ist super und sehr zuverlässig.

Abandonware

Funktioniert unter Yosemite leider nicht. Importierte Screenshots werden nicht angezeigt, weder wenn durch das Tool selber erstellt, noch wenn durch Drag & Drop integriert. Schade.
