FeelinMySkin: Skincare Routine 4+

As a skincare enthusiast I really love this app! The new design took a bit getting used to but now I prefer it over the old one and really enjoy its customization.
Of course no app is perfect. There are some things that I think can still be improved on. For example, I wish that in addition to the normal stats of a product, we could also have stats for specific bottles as the stats always get skewed once I open a new bottle. I also still struggle with planning my actives in the app as I use Tretinoin every other day, but also exfoliate about once a week and if I put a fix date for this, they will eventually fall on the same day.
Still in my opinion it’s the best skincare app that is out there and I‘m certain thatcher developers will continue to improve the app as the years go on!

Thank you, so happy to hear that! :) And such feedback is very helpful, as we always take it into account when creating new features or improving the existing ones. About the routine, might I suggest a solution for your case? You can add a step called "Treatment" and add a schedule with both tretinoin and exfoliation to it. You can configure multiple products for one step, in a list, like this: day 1: Tretinoin, day 2: break day, day 3: tretinoin, day 4: break day, day 5: exfoliation, day 6 tretinoin, day 7: break day. This way those products will be rotated like this pattern you set, insuring you will never use tretinoin and exfoliant in one day. You can play with the break days too, or change the order any way you want. I‘d like an option to automatically avoid using certain products the same day, like Retinol and other actives. :)

Thank you for your feedback! :) Avoiding certain products when using others is very individual and depends on the skin situation of each person - while one person can tolerate, say, retinol and AHAs together, another one can find it to be too much :) Some companies, within their formulations, state that some of their products should not be mixed with other their products - we plan to add such possibility in the future for such companies.

We also plan to add “rules” to routines which you can set for yourself, for example - “skip this product when using this product” - this way you can individually decide what you want to avoid when using something else, since there’s no set rule and it all depends on your skin concerns & resilience :)

The new layout is so bad. Instead of being easier in control it’s just straight up boring. I liked the app very much because it was fun to check in everyday and track my routines. Now the App is so boring and ugly that it just annoys me to open it.

It's a first version of this new layout and our primary goal with this update was to make the "day" more clearer and easier to add things - connect routines with journaling and have a full overview of the day. We are committed to add more colors and cuteness to it as we work on next updates, this one was primarily focused on making it more functional, clearer and easier to navigate :) With design changes it's always a coin toss, as a lot of people requested for a more toned down, cleaner look and are very satisfied with this new change. But we do realize that some people enjoyed the color and doodles in the app, so for the next updates we'll try to strike a balance between the two. I hope you can still enjoy the functions the app provides as we continuously work on improving it and adding new features :)
