Ausbaufähiger Zeitvertreib
Die App macht grundsätzlich Freude: für kleines Geld (Druckkosten mal außen vor gelassen) ist die Familie locker eine Stunde bespaßt.
Das Bild wird getrübt durch lästige Abstürze und Ungereimtheiten in der Bedienung. Vieles scheint noch halbgar und fühlt sich an, als wollten um eine fraglos nette App-Idee unbedingt noch ein paar Features gestrickt werden: Facebook nutzt z.B. nicht die iOS-Integration, die Online-Galerie ist nur halbherzig implementiert ... ach, und hinter dem "Gratis"-Button für einen kostenlosen InApp-Download weihnachtlicher Motive verbirgt sich dann eine Aufforderung zum Facebook-Like - da konnten sich die Entwickler wohl nicht entscheiden und hinterlassen so ein subjektives Gefühl moderner Erpressung. Schade.
Bis zum nächsten Bugfix-Release ist Foldify dann leider auch erst mal wieder vom iPad gelöscht worden – denn die mit 28MB recht genügsame App blähte sich im Laufe des einstündigen Malspaßes auf mehr als 3GB(!) auf.
kreativ, individuell, intuitiv
auch nach 5 Jahren kann ich mich noch an Foldify begeistern, ideal um kleine zockende Monster zu begeistern und sie wieder ans richtige spielen zu bekommen. Oder individuell gestaltete Geschenkverpackungen, schnell und ohne großen Aufwand auf den letzten Dru(e)cker herzustellen.
Ob Weihnachtsbaumschmuck, Döschen und Schächtelchen oder Gebrauchsgegenstände für den Alltag... Einsatzmöglichkeiten sind endlos. Vielleicht spendiert das Foldify Team ein paar neue Grundformen zum 5. Jährigen? Ich bin mir sicher.. 3D Zahlen und Buchstaben wären der Renner
