Description
The app Footprints is an innovative market research app that records the location at regular intervals and detects when someone is near a beacon. To make the app work properly, the location permission must be granted by the user and Bluetooth has to be turned on.The app also occasionally sends invitations to short location-based.
With the obtained data, extensive analyzes e.g. in the fields of mobility and tourism research as well as the purchasing behavior of the population can be made.
The app shows you the distance you have travelled per day or how many kilometers you have covered in a month.
CAUTION: The use of location services leads to increased battery usage.

Schrott und Datensammlung
Bringt absolut nichts außer Datensammlung, hoher Akkuverbrauch, unnötig belegter Speicher. Keine einzige Umfrage, bloß Finger weg von der App. Außer du möchtest wild deine Daten durch die Gegend streuen, was man ja ohnehin schon macht, aber hier ohne Eigennutz.
Auf meine erste Anfrage bezüglich der Umfragen kam nach 2 Tagen die Antwort, dass es wohl dauert und ich mich gedulden muss. Wobei es eigentlich eher Zufall oder Glück ist. (Bis heute keine Umfrage)
Auf die Anfrage bezüglich des Löschens meiner Daten bis heute keine Antwort erhalten. Auch nach erneuter Sendung einer email, nichts.
Schmodder
Habe die App ca. 4 Monate benutzt. Keine Umfragen. Man gewinnt zwar etwas (1€) allerdings rechtfertigt dieser winzige Gewinn nicht das Sammeln meiner Daten über diesen Zeitraum. Lasst die finger davon.
App wurde mit Herz wieder gelöscht.
Bloß nicht
Habe die App jetzt 4 Wochen auf dem Smartphone. Nach 3 Wochen habe ich eine Mail geschrieben, ob mal was kommt, darauf wurde geantwortet, es werden noch Teilnehmer „rekrutiert“. Das kann ich irgendwie nicht so ganz glauben.
Halte es für einen absoluten Beschiss. Kann davon nur abraten. 👎
