Whether on the move or in your home WLAN: With Gira DCS mobile, Gira presents a new feature for mobile door communication access.
So that one knows on the way, who is at home at the door.
As a function in the well-known Gira DCS-IP gateway for iOS smartphones.
Now via a Gira own portal solution, highly encrypted via Secure Data Access.
The Gira DCS mobile app for the Gira DCS IP gateway turns the smartphone into a mobile indoor unit for your Gira door communication system.
In the case of an incoming door call, you can see who is standing in front of the door, talk to the visitor and even open the door, if you are in the garden or shopping in the city. Opening the door requires a PIN because we place great emphasis on security.
The connection to the portal uses either in the domestic WLAN or the cellular network on the move.
Even when the app is closed, the notification of a door call is received via push notification, so that you no longer miss a visitor.

Soweit ganz gut nur leider ist die App nicht ausgereift
Es fehlen mehrere Punkte bzw. sind nicht richtig ausgereift. Türöffnung nur nach Betätigung der Klingeltaste möglich. (Nicht praktisch wenn man Nachts nach Hause kommt und erst den Rest der Familie wecken muss … ja man könnte auch ein Schlüssel nehmen aber wofür habe ich dann diese teure Anlage das ich keine Schlüssel mitnehmen muss.) Beim Klingeln gibt es nur eine Push Benachrichtigung was gerne mal bei lauterer Umgebung untergeht. Leider auch keine weitere Schalthandlung möglich zu integrieren so das ich die Tür vom Nebeneingänge nicht geschaltet werden können.

Gute App mit Tücken beim Update
Ich würde ja gerne 5 Sterne für die App vergeben, da die App für mich alles bietet was ich benötige!
Aber leider gibts einen Punkt Abzug wegen dem sehr mühseligen Update Vorgang.
Wie schon beim Update auf die v4 Version musste ich wieder zuerst alles auf Werkseinstellung zurück setzen, dann die v5 Version aufspielen und danach wieder die vorherige Sicherung wiederherstellen! Gira wollte das schon in der v4 verbessern - erfolglos scheinbar 😐!
Des weiteren kann kann ich leider meine Kameras nicht manuell einschalten, egal was ich beim TKS Assistent auswähle *schade*! Alle anderen versprochenen Funktionen gehen bei mir tadellos 🙂. Also liebes Gira App Team bitte hier nochmal nachbessern (vllt. sogar mit Apple Watch Integration ☺️) dann bin ich bereit für 5 Sterne ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ 🌟

Endlich!
Endlich ist sie da - die Funktion, die ich erwartet habe, als ich vor 6 Jahren unsere TKS mit IP-Gateway gekauft habe.
Die App ist gelungen, die Kopplung über Gira eine gute Lösung für alle, die sich sonst mit DynDNS auseinandersetzen müssten.
Erste Erfahrung: Bei schlechtem Mobilfunknetz kann die aktive Verbindung verloren gehen. Dann hat man vom Handy aus keine Chance, den Kontakt zur TKS wieder herzustellen. Und der Mensch, der vor der Tür steht, weiß nicht, dass er nur nochmal klingeln müsste.
Wenn aktive Kontaktaufnahme zur TKS funktioniert, gibts von mir den 5. Stern.
