Description
Make newsprint style or pop-art photos out of the pics in your Photo Roll. Photos are made of tiny graphics called glyphs. Choose from two dot sizes, lines, waves, dollar signs, circles and partial circles, or tiny shamrocks. Use One or Multi option to tell if you want one size glyphs thruout the photo, or to adjust the glyph size based upon the image brightness.
Hint: If image selector is not onscreen, press lower left button Cancel or Select Another Photo.
Use pinch zoom after processing to zoom in on the resulting pic.
Pics are saved back to your photo roll as new images. Due to the different resolutions in photos, the resulting images May look a little bit like a "screen door" sometimes, but when you look at them on a large screen, zoom-in, or print them out, you will see the ink dots in all their glory.

Tut was es soll
in Perfektion! Man kann das bild so "aufhellen" dass sich die Punkte nicht mehr am Rand gegenseitig überlappen. Das habe ich bis jetzt bei allen halftone fx apps vermisst. Jetzt fehlt nur noch eine Funktion um die punte senkrecht anzuordnen.

Hello, thanks for reviewing our ipad app GlyphDots last year. Now apple lets us respond to user comments on the app store. We have made a small refresh update this year, as you may have noticed, mainly to update the look to modern iOS level and remove ads. Also regarding a related app you may be interested in: we have added ability to apply these filters to videos in the iphone equivalent app NewsFlash! Photo and Video Filter and have added a new CMYK tone color option in that app. Unfortunately we have not had time yet to add the vertical dot alignment option as in your suggestion, but thanks for that, it is on our list!
