We started Goodpods for those moments when you're staring at your phone -- about to hop in the car or go for a run -- wondering what podcast to listen to next, wishing that someone would magically appear with a good true crime, comedy, news, sports or audio drama podcast recommendation. In other words… podcast paralysis!

And who better to get podcast recommendations from than friends who know you best? This already exists with books (Goodreads). And movies (Letterboxd). And music (SoundCloud). We just wanted it for podcasts too!

Telefonnummer notwendig

Zwingend die Telefonnummer bei der Erstellung eines Accounts anzugeben, ist für ein No-Go. Es gibt keinen guten Grund, warum die App diese Daten wissen muss.

Vorsicht, Datenkrake

Warum eine Podcast App unbedingt die eigene Telefonnummer haben will, erschließt sich mir nicht. Ich rate zur Vorsicht vor diesem x-ten Podcatcher.
