Little information provided, kind of tourist-trap price

Everyone who may think in the last moment before arriving to the Grand Canyon (GC) that he/she would want to get some more information on the place to make the stay there more worthwhile, this is app not very helpful. The categories with information on the GC seem arbitrarily chosen and texts are written with as much care and congruency as a scissors and glue patchwork of some encyclopedia Britannica, Wikipedia printouts and newspaper articles. I would like to see more of a personal and consistent author style like can be found e.g. in Lonely Planet (C) guides.
The choice of images just complete the impression of carelessness, as the images just seem to be taken from scattered sources and edited with an image manipulation program to shininess. (GC is a humble place in my opinion, needs no color touchup). Less vivid colors, an individual set of professional real-light real-color images would be much nicer to inspire for the upcoming trip.
Also the section on safety seems to be too much of sensation mongering, crash of helicopters, number of people who died, I think a more entrusting advice with even creative answers suggested to dangers (Drinking-bladder inside backpack, bring looking glasses, camping equipment in case you on site get the note that free places exist because people opted out, etc) would better serve the purpose to prepare travelers.
This app seems to want reinvent how a GC information could be, but in my opinion falls short. Why e.g. not embed in the app or link the app to very famous texts of trip advisor online platforms where very helpful information on Grand Canyon are contributed.
The price of I think 3.49 USD is too high for this kind of rather low-density information app. Refunds are per se not possible through the app policy, so this is a bad customer service of the app.
Please improve the app in some ways. Well the idea is nice, and it may help some people with basic information on the GC so far. I was not very satisfied. Please show you are authentic and don't just want to make quick money from last-minute information-searching visitors.
