App requires unique citizen identifier for account creation

I was really excited when I saw that Croatian rail was finally arriving in the internet era ... but wait! The app seemingly cannot be used without an account and for that one, they require OIB - unique citizen identifier. Now, let’s not delve into the related privacy issue (imagine DB navigator requiring your passport number ...), but seriously? Do they NOT want the app used by people who are not Croatian citizens? Folks, pls fix ASAP.
