It's time for a FOURTH Hack Run!
Note: Hack NET is the fourth installment in the Hack RUN series. You should play 'Hack RUN' before starting this game.
A seemingly routine request for help turns deadly quickly in this version of the Hack RUN series! When the network you are hired to hack reveals its secrets, will you be able to use that information for good? Hack NET uses old-school prompts (like DOS and UNIX) to access virtual programs and systems. Gain access to users’ files and emails to discover new ways to dig deeper and deeper.
Hack NET includes these newly developed interface enhancements:
GAME CENTER SUPPORT
Earn achievements and track your leaderboard score against other players.
CONVENIENT MAIN-MENU POPUP
Enables you to access important content quickly.
CONFIGURE TEXT & BACKGROUND COLORS
Choose from black, white and green.
PERSONAL NOTEPAD
Keep track of where you’ve been with the built-in notepad.
Additional enhancements:
> More “substantial” levels. Earn your way to the final goal.
> New modes of communication to “interface” with users.

Buggy and frustrating
Sometimes the game does not react or the text is not visible since the keyboard is in the way. This makes the game unable to be played.
Very disappointing
I've played all the Hack games before and enjoyed them for what they are. Telnet style pseudo-hacking with a bit of password guessing and a cheesy (but somewhat fun) story.
Now here's the problem with this one: The password guessing is just next to impossible. The writing is so poor that the "clues" don't make any sense at all and you'll be stuck even at earliest levels.
In earlier games if you had to use the help function to find a password you'd mostly feel dumb afterwards cause you really had overlooked something or just didn't guess good enough. In this game however once you'll just feel "Seriously?! How would anyone guess that..." and just get angry at the horrible poor writing.
Asides from that the story is just boring. Take down a big evil cooperation might be an interesting premise, but you'll just never figure out why this company is supposed to be evil.
Oh and did I mention the overall poor usability of the game? Jumping around browser, telnet client etc. is just painful.
