Audio articles are useless

It is really irritating that audio articles pause playing if you lock screen, leave the app to check anything else on mobile, or even try to keep it open playing, but screen locks over time.
To be able to listen to an audio article you need to keep scrubbing the screen to make sure an audio player control screen is always on.
Cannot believe that this is the intended behavior of the app.

Great content, but very poor UI

Without a doubt: my go-to source of business news and trends. A shame, therefore, that the app has very poor UI - bad font, layout, lack of a search field etc that you’d expect from a top-notch magazine that is HBR.

iLife_07 ,

Unbelievably abysmal app

Needs separate login to sync, UI not optimised for bigger iPhone screens, can’t search historic articles, and worst, external content i.e. from LinkedIn can’t be handed over to the HBR app to pass the paywall. This must be some piece of research on how bad user experience can possibly be.

If this isn’t a joke, perhaps hiring some developers who crafted the Financial Times app will help.
