Game characteristics:
- Everybody is invited for the HITSTER party! Super easy rules and no game set-up gets the party started in no-time. Simply scan a card with the free Hitster app and the music starts playing automatically in Spotify, isn't that cool?
- HITSTER is the music game in which you don’t have to be a music expert. Simply guess if a song was released before or after other songs in your music timeline. The futher you are in building your timeline the more challenging it becomes. Your chances of winning increases if you can also name the artists and song titles.
- Are you craving to show of your music knowledge? Play HITSTER with the Pro rules or even Expert rules in which you have to know the exact year, artist and song title.
- Fancy a less competitive trip down memory lane? Then HITSTER can also be played as one team or by yourself.

Super Konzept mit schlechter Umsetzung
Die Idee und das Spiel an sich sind mega! Die technische Umsetzung der App ist allerdings leider sehr schlecht. Ich habe einfach keine Verbindung zu Spotify herstellen können (iPhone 15 Pro). Ich habe den Prozess durchlaufen und bei Spotify allem zugestimmt, dann nach dem Scan einer Karte stand jedes Mal, dass keine Verbindung zu Spotify mehr besteht und dann sollte ich den Prozess noch mal durchführen. Ein Neustart des Telefons hat nichts gebracht. Wir haben es dann auch mal mit und ohne Verbindung zur Musikbox versucht - immer ohne Erfolg. Bei meinem Mitspieler hat es dann irgendwann funktioniert, allerdings nur ohne Verbindung zur Box über den Handylautsprecher (iPhone 14).
Macht Spaß
Mit einem iPhone 15 Pro Max und einem Spotify Premium Account hat die App reibungslos funktioniert.
Sehr unterhaltsames Spiel (wenn man vorher die Karten gekauft hat) für eine breite Zielgruppe. Es gab immer jemanden, der das Lied kannte - auch diejenigen, die vorher dachten, sie wüssten nichts.
Aktuell 01/24 eine Katastrophe
Ich möchte hier wirklich nur die App bewerten, das Spiel an sich ist große Klasse und macht verdammt viel Spaß. Die App ist mit den Funktionen, die sie bietet die absolute Katastrophe. Eine völlig instabile Verbindung zu Spotify trotz Premium Account. Neuanmeldung zu 100% bei App Neustart. Es liegt auch nicht an Spotify, denn hier ist Hitster nach dem ersten Mal autorisieren fest hinterlegt und eingetragen. In ca 2 Stunden spielen habe ich mich ungefähr 55 mal neu anmelden müssen, da die Verbindung mittendrin unterbricht und das manchmal auch mit Fehlern. Trübt den Spaß so sehr, dass ihr mir meine erste schriftliche Rezension wert seid. Bitte unbedingt nachbessern, dann korrigiere ich sehr gern und aktualisiere die Sterne! Das schlimmste ist die Begrenzung auf einen Streaminganbieter, hier müssen ebenfalls mindestens Apple Music und Amazon nachgepflegt werden. Da es auf die Rezensionen selten bis gar keine Reaktion seitens der DEV gab, der letzte Patch sich auch nicht ansatzweise an der Kritik orientiere, habe ich wenig Hoffnung auf Besserung. Personen die hier landen haben das Spiel ja bereits gekauft. Sehr schade 😔
