Introducing IBM HMC Mobile, the app that allows you to monitor and manage your systems from your mobile device. Keep watch over all of your systems and partitions and receive alerts when hardware messages, OS messages, or status changes arise.

• View system status, hardware messages, and configuration details
• View partition status, OS messages, and configuration details
• Start/activate, stop/deactivate and change the activation profiles of partitions
• Use personalized push notification settings that allow you to receive updates only for the systems and partitions that you’re most interested in monitoring
• Take advantage of personalized security options such as multi-factor authentication, fingerprint ID, restricted object access and actions based on user role and IP, a “view only” mode, and more

• Enhanced push notifications: Users can enable their devices to receive push notifications when status changes or messages arise on their systems, partitions, or HMCs. Standard push notifications hide the details of status changes and messages until a user opens the IBM HMC Mobile app. Enhanced push notifications show the details of status changes or messages in the push notification without requiring users to open the app or have access to the HMC. Enhanced notifications can be enabled in the IBM HMC Mobile Settings task.
• Consolidated push notification configuration: View and manage all of your push notifications settings in one place.
• Secure boot enhancements: Verify that a boot program originates from a trusted source and has not been tampered with. Manage certificates used for validation.
• Load and dump support for ECKD, SCSI, NVMe and tape devices.
• Sustainability metrics: View power consumption metrics for systems and partitions.
