Bislang die beste Podcast-App

Nachdem ich nun fast alle im Store erhältlichen Podcasts-App getestet (und leider auch bezahlt) habe, kann ich diese App uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Habe 65 Podcasts abonniert und keine andere App kann mit dieser Anzahl so souverän umgehen. Bei einer solch hohen Zahl wird es bei anderen Apps schnell unübersichtlich - nicht jede Episode, die erscheint, will man schließlich auch herunterladen. iCatcher ist sehr gut zu bedienen und greift die Feeds zudem wesentlich schneller ab als andere Programme. Danke dem Programmierer! .... Update 1. Februar 2017: noch immer ungeschlagen und meiner Meinung nach der beste Podcatcher im Store, zumal er regelmäßig aktualisiert wird. .... Update 23. März 2019: Da ich nun Apple CarPlay besitze, habe ich mir die übrigen Podcast-Apps auf dem Markt noch einmal angeschaut. Und ich bleibe bei iCatcher. Keine andere App bietet so viele Einstellmöglichkeiten, bei keiner anderen App ist das Hören so ein Genuss.

Non-Plus-Ultra

Die einzige - und ich meine WIRKLICH - einzige Podcast App, die einem nicht vorschreibt, wie man seine Podcasts zu hören hat, sondern sich in jedem Detail an die eigenen Vorlieben anpassen lässt:

Eine Playlist, die sich ganz bestimmte Folgen aus ganz bestimmten Podcasts nach meiner eigenen Priorität sortiert zusammensucht und nach meinem vorgegebenen Rhythmus automatisch aktualisiert? Kein Problem - überall lassen sich die App, die Podcasts, Playlists und das Hörverhalten umfassend individuell gestalten.

Allenfalls die Optik kann nicht ganz mit der Geschwindigkeit mithalten, mit der sich iOS stetig weiterentwickelt - aber ich freue mich über den iPhone X Support und kann guten Gewissens 5* geben - bitte weiter so!

Background Playback

Danke, dass ich Audio bus Videopodcasts endlich wieder im Hintergrund abspielen kann und nur die Tonspur höre, aber eben ohne, dass sie irgendwann abbricht und ich den Podcast neu starten muss, der dann auch nicht als angespielt markiert wurde. Ich benutze die App seit Jahren und habe gewusst, ich muss nur etwas warten, bis der Fehler behoben wird, auch wenn es sicherlich schwierig war. Einen entsprechenden Tip war es mir daher mehr als wert und ich hoffe, viele nutzen die Tips... Dankeschön und ein gesundes und gutes 2021.
