With the iLOQ S50 app your smartphone becomes a key. By downloading the S50 app you can use your NFC-enabled phone to open iLOQ S50 locks and readers to which your locking system administrator has given you access rights. Opening locks is simple and convenient: Just place your phone’s NFC area close to the lock’s reader while the application is open and tap the lock icon on the screen. The reader harvests energy from the phone's NFC field and verifies your access rights for opening the lock. To use the S50 app as a key your phone number needs to be registered to a locking system by the administrator, after this you’ll receive a key registration message via SMS or email. Your access rights can also be updated at any time by the administrator, contact them for more info. The S50 app can also be used to update access rights to iLOQ K5 keys and K55S.2 Key Fobs.

Works a bit slow. Still there seems to be no Wallet integration, so opening the app still mandatory. Room for improvement.

Man muss nur Geduld haben

Bisher hat es immer irgendwie geklappt, aber oft erst nach etlichen Versuchen. Um Abwechslung zu haben gibt es zwei Positionen wie ich mein iPhone 14Pro halten soll, beide funktionieren irgendwann. Kollegen mit Samsung haben keine Probleme. Eine andere App erkennt das NFC Schloss superschnell.

This app is an absolute disaster. No support for Apple Wallet. When you open the NFC function, the app constantly malfunctions and you sometimes have to try for minutes on end to prevent the NFC display in the app from disappearing when you hold it up to the transponder. Super annoying. If you are a decision-maker and have to decide for or against this provider, decide against it and use another one.
