Gutes Programm mit einigen wenigen Mängeln.

Mit diesem Programm hat man umfangreiche Möglichkeiten, Videos nach seinen Vorstellungen zu bearbeiten und überdies ist es verhältnismässig einfach, es zu bedienen.
Jedoch stört es mich, dass sich nicht mehr als zwei Videoclis übereinander legen lassen. EIn ähnliches Problem ist bei den Titeln vorhanden. Generell fällt mir immerwieder auf, dass sich speziell die Titel seltsam verziehen oder verschieben. Mittlerweile lässt ich auch nicht mehr die Einblenddauer anpassen, was in einigen Fällen zu Problemen führen kann.
Trotzdem lässt sich sehr viel mit iMovie anfangen. Tolles Programm, nutze ich sehr gerne!

Tolles Programm, kinderleicht zu bedienen

Wir nutzen iMovie seit etwa 15 Jahren, logischerweise in verschiedenen Versionen. Es bietet sehr gute Möglichkeiten sowhl kurze Clips zu erstellen als auch lange Filme (von z.B. Musikschul-Aufführungen), in denen ich die externen Audio-Aufnahmen mit den Filmaufnahmen synchronisieren kann und sich sogar die Geschwindigkeiten aufeinander exakt abstimmen lassen (das habe ich bereits vor 10 Jahren gemacht!).
Inzwischen arbeiten meine Kinder damit (12 und 13 Jahre). Ihre Einarbeitungszeit in das Programm war erstaunlich kurz, jetzt kombinieren sie wie selbstverständlich Szenen mit Musik und Geräuschen, lassen Szenen rückwärts laufen oder dehnen sie und so weiter. Also durchaus ‚kinderleicht‘.
Allerdings ist so ein Programm grundsätzlich sehr komplex und viele Möglichkeiten können sie noch nicht durchdringen.
Das Programm hat bis jetzt jede meiner Kameras erkannt und ausgelesen. Es kann meine favorisierten Dateiformate exportieren in unterschiedlichen Qualitäten. Für ein ‚kostenloses‘ Programm ist das schon genial. Ich habe mir oft überlegt, ob ich ‚FinalCut‘ für die Bearbeitung der Aufführungen kaufen soll, aber es war einfach nicht notwendig. Das ist etwas für den professionellen Bereich.

Leichte Bedienung und bei simplem Umfang

Für eine kostenlose Videobearbeitung schlägt sich iMove recht gut, die Bedienung ist simpel und flott, der Funktionsumfang entsprechend eingeschränkt. Für meine Tutorial-Videos ist es aber absolut ausreichend und die wenigsten Hobby-Filmer werder mehr benötigen. Einige Automatismen, wie z. B. das automatische Absenken der Musik, wenn gesprochene Texte eingefügt werden, sind sehr praktisch. Ich habe bislang einige Projekte damit erstellt und bin sehr zufrieden mit der einfachen Funktionsweise.
