Description
karatasi is a flip card learning program. It allows you to learn any information that can be prepared as pairs of questions and answers. The learning algorithm is a spacing learning algorithm similar to SuperMemo algorithm SM-2 (http://www.supermemo.com) and very efficient for huge numbers of cards.
karatasi is optimized for an easy daily language exercising. karatasi is tested to handle databases with about 14000 cards. At the moment karatasi is tested for languages written with latin characters, it should be capable to handle any character set.
It is possible to import and export databases through a Java desktop application or a Web server. We are also providing a script to import an existing database from the Palm Pilot.
karatasi is open source under GPL. You can get the full source code from the Web page (https://sourceforge.net/projects/karatasi).

Karatasi je výukový program založený na kartičkách. Umožňuje naučit se libovolné informace, které lze zapsat jako dvojici otázky a odpověi. Učicí algoritmus, podobný algoritmu SM-2 (http://www.supermemo.com), počítá vzdálenost opakování a je velmi efektivní pro velký počet kartiček.
Karatasi je optimalizované pro snadné denní cvičení slovní zásoby cizích jazyků. Karatasi v testech zvládlo databáze se zhruba 14 000 kartičkami. V současné době je Karatasi testováno pro jazyky používající latinku. Mělo by ovšem fungovat s jakoukoliv znakovou sadou.
Je možné importovat a exportovat databáze pomocí Java desktopové aplikace nebo webového serveru. Rovněž poskytujeme skript na import již existujících databází z platformy Palm Pilot.
Karatasi je open source projekt pod licencí GPL. Zdrojové kódy můžete získat na webové stránce (https://sourceforge.net/projects/karatasi).

Idee an sich großartig!
Ich finde die Idee einfach super und wer eine vollständige Datenbank hat profitiert gerade als Schüler enorm von diesem Programm.
Was ich mir allerdings für eine kommende Version wünschen würde, ist eine Möglichkeit, dass man angezeigt bekommt, wie viele Fragen man nach einer Übung richtig hatte und eine Möglichkeit Vokabeln, auch wenn man sie richtig hatte erneut üben zu können, ohne dass man sie umständlich alle einzeln neu "aktivieren" muss...
Dann hätte das Programm 5 Sterne verdient!!!

Super!
Hab mir die App vor einem Monat heruntergeladen. Mittlerer Weile nutze ich die App hauptsächlich, um für anstehende Klausuren zu lernen.
So funktioniert Karatasi: Man erstellt im Vorfeld eine Kategorie, z.B. "Englisch". In dieser Kategorie kann man dann weitere erstellen, z.B. "Vokabel Test 1". In diesem Ordner tippt man dann seinen ganzen Lernstoff in so vielen Karteikarten, wie man möchte. Am besten immer eine Frage und eine Antwort. Hat man seinen Lernstoff eingetippt, kann man diesen nun lernen, in dem man auf "Üben" drückt. Weiß man die Antwort, kann man "gewusst" anklicken und wenn man sie nicht weiß, dann klickt man auf "nicht gewusst". In diesem Fall bleibt die Kartei weiterhin zum Üben bereit. Im richtigen Fall wird die anschließend nicht mehr abgefragt. Neben dem "Üben" kann man auch Tests machen. Hier werden alle zu dem Thema eingetippten Karteikarten abgefragt. Diese kann man dann in "+++" (die man sehr gut weiß) bis hin zu "---" (weiß ich überhaupt nicht) einteilen. Am Ende des Tests erhält man noch eine Übersicht.
Fazit: Super App zum Lernen. Einziger Verbesserungsvorschlag wäre eine iPad Version. Karatasi ist nämlich leider nur in iPhone Größe verfügbar, was manchmal ein wenig stört.
