Cinema 1200, 800, and 700
Virtual Remote Control and EQ features require the soundbar be running the latest update. This normally happens automatically when the soundbar has been connected to the Internet, either via Klipsch Connect or Google Home. If your device has not been connected to the Internet, please contact our Product Support Team for assistance. See details below.
The Fives, The Sevens, and The Nines, including McLaren Editions
Virtual Remote Control and EQ features require the powered monitors be running the latest update. If you have not updated your Fives already, please download the free "Klipsch The Fives Updater" app. This will walk you through the update process. After the update is complete, all future updates will come through Klipsch Connect. Our Product Support team can walk you through the entire process. Simply reach out to us at:

Endlich brauchbar für die Fives
Besitze The Fives von Klipsch und habe vorher eine sehr schlechte Bewertung geschrieben. Aber nach dem neuen Update muss ich meine Bewertung verbessern. Denn jetzt wurde endlich das versprochene EQ-Update nachgeliefert. Es ist nicht perfekt aber schon mal ein sehr guter Anfang. Kommt natürlich sehr spät, wenn man bedenkt, dass die Fives schon seit 1 1/2 Jahre auf dem Markt sind. Aber besser spät als nie. Ingesamt sind alle Möglichkeiten da, um die Fives über die App zu bedienen und endlich fühlen sich die Fives „komplett“ an. Allerdings ist die App sehr langsam und es dauert immer einige Zeit bis sich die App mit den Lautsprechern verbindet und es dauert auch ca. 1 - 2 Sekunden bis Einstellungen vom Lautsprecher umgesetzt werden. Daher vergebe ich hier erstmal nur 4 Sterne. Ich hoffe, dass wird in Zukunft noch verbessert.
Rudimentäre App
Was die App anbietet funktioniert gut. Die Verbindungszeit ist der Bluetoothverbindung mit der die App mit den Boxen kommuniziert zuzuschreiben. Da kann ich mit leben. Die vorgegebenen IQ Einstellungen nutze ich nicht, da sie bei mir nicht die richtigen Sound Ergebnisse, die für meinen Raum erforderlich wären, anbietet. Aber dafür kann ich ja den IQ individuell für mich einstellen. Wenn man die Übergangsfrequenz für den subwoofer noch individuell einstellen könnte, wäre das super. Momentan übergibt die App bzw die Boxen ab 60 Hz an den subwoofer.

App funktioniert!
Nachdem ich ständig in den „Permissions“ feststeckte, habe ich in einem US Apple Forum die Lösung gefunden:
Man muss seine Schriftgrösse reduzieren, wenn man diese einmal erhöht hatte!!!
Hat man dies getan, lassen sich die Permissions auch weiter runter scrollen und man kommt weiter..!!!👌👍
Da muss man erstmal drauf kommen..
Nun funktioniert aber alles..
