Description
Mate is an incredibly powerful translator app which is deeply integrated with iOS. It lets you easily translate words, texts and speech anywhere on your iPhone or iPad. It works both online and offline, as well as available in dark and light mode. Mate will have your back with 103 languages.
Mate is equally helpful if you're mastering a new language, want to take down a language barrier when going abroad, or just occasionally need to translate a web page, email, message, etc.

Mate has some simple yet powerful iOS extensions which will save you a lot of time:
- Safari Extension. Browse the web without even noticing that there are foreign languages. Mate will translate websites before you even see them.
- Share Extension. Translate in Mail, Notes, PDFs by highlighting text, choosing Share and then Mate from Share Menu.
- iMessage App. Write messages in your language, Mate will translate them on the fly and send in the recipient's language. Or vice versa.
- Widget. Translate clipboard contents by long-pressing Mate's icon on home screen or from the Search screen.
We also supercharged Mate with some features language enthusiasts will totally love:
- Genders for nouns. Supports French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Swedish, and Dutch.
- Phonetic transcription and transliteration for both original and translation.
- Speak out.
- Phrasebook. It's an easy way to store vocabulary you want to learn. You can save words to Phrasebook directly or shuffle your existing translations to it.

Seit 1 Monat abonniere ich diese Anwendung. Wurde mir geschrieben, dass meine Account mit aktiven Mate Abo nicht verbunden ist. Quatsch! Ich habe diese Anwendung schon in Abo Liste, Zugangs Daten außer Pass sind gleich wie mein Apple id, und trotz es empfiehlt mir neue abonnieren, sogar für erhöhte Preis. Seit 3 Tagen keine Rückmeldung von Giekkes, keine Antworten von AppStore Support. Anw. ist gekauft, Beleg ist da, und keine weiteren Nutzung. Große Daum runter :-(

Eigentlich fünf Sterne, aber eine einzige Sache zerstört alles ....
... Das Programm versucht jedes Mal die Sprache, die übersetzt werden soll, selbst zu bestimmen, wenn ich in einer Anwendung auf #Translate# im Kontextmenü tippe. Das funktioniert präzise und schnell, wenn es sich um einen markierten Satz oder eine Phrasechandelt. Es funktioniert aber in neun von zehn Fällen nicht, wenn ich nur ein Wort (eigentlich immer in Englisch) markiere und es in der Übersetzung sehen will. Es wird irgendeine Sprache identifiziert, das Programm meldet dann z. B.: Norwegisch (Bokmal) wird derzeit nicht zum Übersetzen unterstützt ...usw. Ich kann zwar die Sprache mit einen Tipp selbst festlegen, dann endlich wird die Übersetzung angezeigt. Aber was für eine unfassbare Zeitverschwendung (wie diese Rezension hier) ist das?
Gerade diejenigen, die einen Text flüssig lesen können und nur das eine oder andere Wort übersetzen wollen, können das Programm daher so überhaupt nicht effizient nutzen. Wer hat diesen Unsinn programmiert? Zumindest niemand, der das Programm wirklich nutzt oder sorgfältig getestet hat.
Wenn das gefixt ist und ich eine Standardsprache selbst festlegen kann, an das sich das Programm dann bei #Translate# hält, ändere ich gerne ... die Bewertung auf fünf Sterne, weil sich dann alles wieder flüssig zusammenreimt.

Ich hoffe es bleibt so ohne Abonnement wenn doch Abo doch nachträglich kommt dann lösche auch das Programm und gebe nur noch 1 Stern ich hasse Abos
