The Link app gives you remote control of wirelessly connected Simrad, Lowrance, or B&G multifunction displays from your smartphone or tablet. Link lets you select any wirelessly connected display on board, duplicates the screen in real-time on your mobile device, and puts control of most display functions at your fingertips. Work with charts, sonar, and radar, control your on-board entertainment system, view data from connected engines and instruments, and much more. With Link, you’re constantly connected to your boat’s key systems from anywhere on board – making it easier to plan trips, fish, sail, handle maintenance, and otherwise make the best of your time on the water. Link also gives you the ability to wirelessly back up and restore waypoints, routes, tracks, and display settings directly to your mobile device. This makes it easier than ever to protect your valuable boating data against loss or theft, and to keep your backups up-to-date with zero hassle. The Link app is compatible with Simrad NSS evo3, NSS evo2, NSO evo2, NSS7/8/12*, and GO series displays; Lowrance HDS Carbon, HDS Gen3, HDS Gen2 Touch*, HDS Gen2**, and Elite Ti fishfinder/chartplotters; and B&G Zeus³, Zeus², Zeus Touch*, and Vulcan sailing chartplotters. Displays without built-in wireless connectivity require an additional WIFI-1 module. To enable the Link app, a free software update may be required for your display. The App works well on iPad and iPhone. In sunny weather you have to take care not overhead the iPad. This is not a problem of the App itself. We miss a possibility to control the autopilot via the Apple Watch. Could you add this feature in the next update? This would be really nice feature.

Die App ist teilweise etwas langsam und träge. Hier muss an der Performance gearbeitet werden.Leider lässt sich das Tablet nur 1:1 spiegeln. Wenn hier auf dem Tablet und auf dem Display unterschiedliche Ansichten laufen könnten wäre das super.

I change from raymarine to Simrad/Navico. With raymarine you where able to handle your autopilot with the app for free.Here now we speak about a safety reason not to steer your autopilot by phone.As you by all the extra parts, suddenly there is no risk anymore to steer with a Simrad Remote Control.Hey guys i allready spend a lot of money for all the components of your system. So service by app to steer by applewatch - this is too much for you?

Fixed the Mirroring and Remote Control experience. Chart-plotters are now mirrored in fullscreen once again. Added support for Local Network Access permissions. Link will now request access to your local network to communicate with your Marine devices, enabling devices to be automatically discovered and used by the apps features.
