Guter Ansatz, es ginge aber mehr
Fast so gut, wie unter Linux KDE 4.
Linux KDE4 hatte etwas ähnliches.
Daran gemessen wäre es schön, den Living Earth Desktop Hintergrund nur einem Schreibtisch zuordnen zu können. Perfekt wäre es, wenn man den Desktop Hintergrund selbst mit der Maus drehen könnte.
Das schönste was wir haben!
Seit 2013 beglückt mich dieser Screenhintergrund mit unserem Live-Bild der Erde (Wolken) in fotorealistischer Qualität. Es gibt für mich nichts schöneres als das Gefühl zu haben wirklich auf unseren Planeten zu schauen. Wetter und Uhrzeit sind für mich nicht wichtig, Screensaver eh überholt. Dann schon eher die Hurricans und Stürme auf der iOS Version. Ich hoffe die App wird noch ewig weiter so gepflegt. Vielen Dank an die Entwickler.
Unausgereift
Die Idee finde ich gut, sie ist aber schlecht umgesetzt. So sind die Fenster der App fehlerhaft angelegt - wenn man beispielsweise eine Stadt hinzufügen will, wird einem ein Auswahlfeld vermutlich mit einer Städteliste angezeigt, die außerhalb des vorsehenen Rahmens ist. Da sich dieser auch nicht vergrößern lässt, kann man halt keine Stadt auswählen. Gleiches gilt für das Fenster an sich, in dem ein schwarzer Kasten mit einer abgeschnitteten 1/5 Erde zu sehen ist. Ganz ehrlich - das muss man doch vorher testen. Insbesondere, da die App veeglichen mit der Funktionalität teuer ist und soe wenige Funktionen ausweist. Dann müssen doch die wenigen Funktion auch korrekt ausführbar sein!
