Once again, we've been tinkering a lot with our app and we have some exciting news for you: We now offer you the option to receive occasional updates about New York via push notifications. Don't worry, we promise not to be annoying :) Additionally, we've revamped the ticket purchasing overview – feel free to drop us a line at app@lovingnewyork.de and let us know what you think.
Of course, there are also some bug fixes and stability improvements included! Enjoy planning your travels! :)

TOP: viele Sehenswürdigkeiten, Restaurants, Malls, Museen, Aktivitäten, die mit Insider-Tipps versehen sind. Auch top: Jahreszeitabhängige Insider-Tipps und die Beantwortung der Frage „für welche Attraktion muss ich in welche Metro ein- und wo (Haltestelle) wieder aussteigen“
👉🏼 Optimierungsvorschlag:
Die Möglichkeit, für einen selbst eigene Stecknadeln zu setzen (z.B. Hotel) oder andere (nicht gelistete, aber auf der Karte sichtbare) Spots zu markieren und zu MyNY hinzuzufügen, fehlt mir.
Top App zur Vorbereitung und zur Nutzung vor Ort
Wir kommen gerade von unserer Reise nach New York zurück und konnten die App super zur Vorbereitung (z.B. Vergleich der verschiedenen NY-Pässe) verwenden und haben sie auch in New York jeden Tag genutzt. Toll ist, dass sie auch offline nutzbar ist (wenn man gerade mal kein WLAN hat) und dass es für so viele Spots (Sehenswürdigkeiten, Restaurants, Führungen, Einkaufen) - und nicht nur in Manhattan! - Informationen gibt! Gerade, wenn man z.B. spontan überlegt, wo man Burger essen kann, findet man über die Karte Tipps für Locations in der Nähe.
Besonders wertvoll sind die Details (klingt banal, aber z.B. wo ist der Eingang zu einem Gebäude?!) und wie gesagt die Tatsache, dass man sie offline nutzen kann.
Die App ist sehr zu empfehlen und hat uns sehr geholfen!
Gut vorbereitet nach NYC
Habe mir die App herunter geladen, mir den Reiseführer gekauft und bin nach NYC geflogen. Morgen ist unser Urlaub zu Ende und es geht wieder nach Germany.
Vor der Reise hatte ich echt Respekt vor der Stadt, war sogar ein bisschen ängstlich..., fühlte mich durch die Vorbereitung mit der App aber sehr gut informiert. Bin mit zwei Teenies geflogen, die waren mit meinen Tagesplanungen immer zufrieden. Wir haben alles gefunden und fühlten uns nach ein paar Tagen schon heimisch. Ich kann die App jedem empfehlen, der sich gerne gründlich vorbereitet. Gute Arbeit!
