Super App, klasse Support

Ich nutze MacDive auf dem iPhone seit fast einem Jahr und hatte nie Probleme damit. Bedienung ist einfach und intuitiv, Backup und Sync zum iPad via Dropbox ging auf Anhieb. Sehr praktisch finde ich die „Join“-Funktion, um Tauchgänge zu verschmelzen (wenn z.B. beim Computer ein kurzes Auftauchen für eine Aufteilung des Tauchgangs gesorgt hat).

Seit dem Update auf iOS 13 ließen sich die Tauchgänge von meinem Smart Air nicht mehr via BlueLink übertragen. Der Support hat mich innerhalb von wenigen Stunden für den Beta-Test der nächsten Version eingeladen, wo alles wieder reibungslos funktioniert. So geht Support.

Da Englisch für mich kein Problem ist, gibt es hier volle 5 Sterne. Eine deutsche Übersetzung habe ich zumindest noch nicht gefunden 😉.

Perfekt

Eigentlich bin ich beim App-Kauf eher geizig, aber dieses 10 Euro haben sich gelohnt. Eine gelungene Logbuch-App, die sehr viele Daten übersichtlich aufbereitet. Der komplette Daten-Import von der Suunto-Software DM5 war via AirDrop vom Mac direkt aufs Phone war in ein paar Sekunden erledigt. Auch der Bluetooth-Import vom Suunto D5 funktioniert super, ebenso die Synchronisation via Dropbox - auch wenn eine Lösung mit eigenem MacDive-Account natürlich noch komfortabler wäre. GPS-Tracking klappt und belastet den Akku gar nicht so doll. Insgesamt so überzeugend, dass ich mich jetzt endgültig vom Papier-Logbuch verabschieden werde.

Looks like app is no longer supported

To my regards this is the best IOS Dive log app available on the market - and I tried a few.

Nick, the developer was very active responding to requests and issues but since over 6 months now there is no sign of life of him. Even the forum does not allow to post new threads.

It looks very much like the app is not being supported anymore. It is still working but with new SW releases of the dive computers coming out it is likely that sooner or later it will become un-useable
