Great idea but unwieldy

Extending the notch to a dynamic notch with shortcuts is exactly what's missing from Apple! 👍

This app provides a number of predefined shortcuts to do nearly everything, they can be edited and here is the point where it becomes unwieldy: I tried to define a shortcut (option-command-c) to open a special window of another app running in the background. Using the predefined "Copy" and then changing the flag did not do it but remained "Copy" – even with a message "Copied text to clipboard" althought nothing was highlighted. It worked instead with the predefined "Paste unformatted text" and then changing both the flag and the key.

What I think is missing is an option to "automatically launch at login" in the settings. Instead, I hat to add MagicNotch manually to the startup objects.

I wouldt have preferred a way to contact the developer before writing this review, but I found no other way…

Please fix multi screen behaviour

great idea but please fix it when using a secon screen. it should only use the macbook display and not the external.

Simulate notch

Cant you add an option to simulate the notch for external display? Because my external doesnt have a notch and I cant use your shortcuts there!
