Beschreibung

Marhaba teaches you words and sentences in Syrian (-Lebanese) dialectal Arabic. The principle of the app is simple:
- You learn Syrian words, with audio and both Arabic and phonetic transcription.
- You are questioned about the words you've already learned.
- If you have enough consecutive correct answers, you unlock a new word.
- When you have learned enough words, you will start learning sentences.
- Then you will be asked to translate the sentences yourself to unlock new words and sentences.

Amazing app to learn fast

I am using this app for a couple of days and can already feel big improvements. I learn everyday and can use the words already to say small things like hello, how are you, what do you want to eat, etc to my arabic friends. It´s well structured and much fun to use. I hope more words will be added from time to time and that more functionality such as „I already memorized that word“ will be added. I can absolutely recommend this app to anyone who wants to learn spoken syrian arabic!

Tolle App, aber…

Die Vollversion funktioniert leider nicht. Die App hängt und man kann keine Fortschritte mehr machen.

Great value for money

I’m not sure how the algorithm works regarding the repetition but I wish I could swipe it up for an “I already know” option. It’s a good way to learn and I hope a lot of content is still to come because under the “Learn Option” it doesn’t say how much I’ve covered of the whole content in total. The other options with verbs etc are good but just as a reference. I had been looking for some Levantine apps for awhile and I’m glad I found this app, the price is great.
