Großartige App
Ich bekomme durch Medium sehr viele neue Impulse, die ich in anderen Medien bisher nicht erhalten habe. Das alleine macht die Nutzung für mich sinnvoll und hilfreich und ich bin froh das ich so circa einmal pro Woche 1 Stunde mit dem Lesen von Medium verbringen kann
Nerves
Muss meine Bewertung revidieren. Habe 1. Das Konzept misunderstood, u 2. eine innerliche Barriere aufgebaut, die tatsächlich i. Zusammenhang mit verbunden Social-Media Diensten steht, zu deren Überwindung ich die kompletten Erklärungen von Medium durcharbeiten musste. An für sich eine Selbstverständlichkeit, bis auf die Tatsache, dass es auf über 80% der Apps nicht o nur oberflächlich besehen zutrifft. Insoweit stellt Medium einen Mehrwert her, der über das Maß einer reinen Berichterstattung (Konsum) u zur Teilnahme/Austausch, ebenfalls über das Maß eines reinen Social-Media-Dienstes hinausgeht einlädt. Ob es sinnvoll ist Medium mit den angebunden Social-Media Diensten, die in der Hauptsache eine Selbstdarstellung, bis hin zur Profilierung (o Neurose) sein kann, zu verbinden, muss hingegen jeder für sich selbst heraus finden. Mir erscheint der Weg über Medium hin zu Social-Media eher empfehlenswert als umgekehrt.

Ein wirklich faszinierendes Projekt
Medium gibt es (meines Wissens) seit über zehn Jahren. Dort wurden und werden Artikel hochkarätige Spezialisten, Journalisten aus allen möglichen Fachgebieten - und vieles mehr veröffentlicht.
Jeder Schreiber oder beginnende Blogger kann hier so einfach wie bei Facebook einen Account eröffnen – und seine eigenen Artikel zu seinen eigenen Themen veröffentlichen. Für mich war Medium immer das etwas passendere, weil erwachsenere Tumblr.
