We have created this app to fulfill our customers’ frequent request to be able to calculate the weights of materials quickly and easily. This extends right across our range of products.
Easily calculate the weight of almost 300 different materials and elements in 22 currently specified formats.
The app can:
calculate weights made from almost 300 materials and elements for:
Rolled and cast materials:
- sheets / plates / cuttings / rings / circular blanks
Bars:
- round / square / flat / hexagonal / octagonal / double hexagonal
Tubes:
- round / square / hexagonal – angular and round-hole / bushings / hollow bars
Profiles:
- angle (L) / T / U / Z / double T
Special shapes
- Spheres
Results:
Weights: per kg/m or m² ● per item ● total weight
For tubular forms, calculate the missing dimensions
For semi-circular bars (sector of a circle), chord / height / diameter
Display specific weights:
The specific weights are displayed for all materials and elements.
Compare materials:
In the case of non-ferrous metals, EN standards are observed as well as many comparable standards according to DIN, UNI (Italy), BS (British Standard), AFNOR (France), and from Spain, Sweden and Norway. However, some of these are only similar.
Materials for tool-making, mould-making and model-making:
You can also find special materials for tool-making, mould-making and model-making, such as FORMODAL®, UNIDAL® or CERTAL®.
Miscellaneous:

Einkauf und Arbeitsvorbereitung
Spitzen Update, mit vielen tollen neuen Features!!! Neben allen erdenklichen Metalllegierungen mit den dazugehörigen Formen, kann man problemlos Anfragen generieren... Habe beispielsweise erstmals neben der Berechnung meiner 7075 Walzplattenzuschnitte eine entsprechende Anfrage generiert. Das Angebot kam postwendend! Auf dieser Basis kann ich nun meinem Kunden anbieten und die Zuschnitte später bei Bikar kaufen - viel effizienter geht es nicht... Danke für das Update + großes Lob.
Spitze
Super App! Unglaublich viele Materialien lassen sich hier berechnen. Dazu auch alle erdenklichen Formen. Dazu läuft die App schnell und stabil. Hier haben alle Mitwirkenden einen super Job gemacht. Danke. Übrigens lässt sich mit der App auch einfach das Gewicht von Schnee berechnen. Sehr nützlich bei Dachflächen und auch zum Spaß für ein Schneeball. Beton, Holz und viele Kunststoffe oder auch Arsen lässt sich ebenfalls berechnen!
Super Update im Herbst 2015
Update sehr gut gelungen, läuft stabil auch unter iOS 9.
