Description
You can access your pump data and sensor trends directly from a compatible Apple Watch. An easier and more discreet solution to help manage your diabetes, this feature is only available on select MiniMed™ 700-series pump systems.
With the MiniMed™ Mobile app, you can view key insulin pump and CGM data right on your smartphone. This can help you better understand your glucose levels and review your history and easily see how your levels are trending.
Automatic data uploads to CareLink™ software make sharing your data with care partners easier than ever.
IMPORTANT: This app will only work with a MiniMed™ 700-series insulin pump system, which was specifically designed to communicate wirelessly with compatible smart devices. To find a list of compatible devices, please visit your local Medtronic website. The MiniMed™ Mobile app will not work with other MiniMed™ or Paradigm™ insulin pumps. The MiniMed™ Mobile app is intended to provide a secondary display for a compatible MiniMed™ insulin pump system on a suitable consumer electronic device for passive monitoring and to sync data to CareLink™ system. The MiniMed™ Mobile app is not intended to replace the real-time display of continuous glucose monitoring or insulin pump data on the primary display device (i.e., the insulin pump). All therapy decisions should be based on the primary display device.
The MiniMed™ Mobile app is not intended to analyze or modify the continuous glucose monitoring data or insulin pump data that it receives. Nor is it intended to control any function of the connected continuous glucose monitoring system or insulin pump. The MiniMed™ Mobile app is not intended to receive information directly from the sensor or transmitter of a continuous glucose monitoring system.
This app store should not be used as your first point of contact to resolve technical or customer services issues. Fehlende Funktionen
Ansich ist die App übersichtlich genug. Man kann die Werte gut verfolgen ohne die Pumpe dauernd aus der Hosentasche holen zu müssen. Da komm ich aber gleich zum für mich größten Negativpunkt der App. Man kann die Meldungen der Insulinpumpe nicht über das Smartphone bestätigen, ohne die Pumpe aus der Hosentasche zu holen und von Hand zu bestätigen. Das ist z.B. beim Autofahren sehr nervig. Meistens kommt man bei solchen Tätigkeiten sehr schlecht an die Pumpe dran. Und bevor die Pumpe dann nervige Töne von sich gibt, muss man die Meldungen wieder direkt an der Pumpe bestätigen. Wer denkt sich denn nur so etwas aus? Leider nicht zu Ende gedacht. Bitte eine Option ergänzen, bei der man die Meldungen der Pumpe über die App bestätigen kann. Desweiteren stört es mich, dass man den Bildschirm des Smartphones (Z.B. iPhone14 pro) ständig geöffnet haben muss. Da ist der Akku ziemlich schnell leer. Besser wäre es doch, das als Widget auf den Sperrscreen zu bekommen. Den kann man ab dem iPhone 14 nämlich auf dauerhaft an einstellen. Dadurch wird viel Akkukapazität eingespart. Bitte diese Funktionen ergänzen.

Update IPhone 15: Bei mir funktioniert es
Ich kann mich nicht beklagen. Die App funktioniert seit ca. 1 Monat einwandfrei. Wichtig ist halt, das sie im Hintergrund immer geöffnet ist. Sonst verbindet sie sich nicht. Was ich toll finde, dass sogar die Warnmeldungen auf der AppleWatch erscheinen. Trotzdem für die Entwicklung hier noch ein paar Wünsche. 1. Eine direkte Apple Watch App, so dass ich den aktuellen Zuckerwert auf der Uhr ablesen kann. 2. Warnmeldungen auf dem Telefon und auf der Uhr quittieren 3. Insulinabgabe über die Handy-App steuern 4. Zusammenarbeit mit anderen Apps. Z.B. Apple Health, Yazio oder ähnliches.
Mit dem IPhone 15 hat es erst funktioniert als ich die App komplett neu installiert habe.
Zifferblätter? Fehlanzeige
Ein Nutzer schrieb hier, dass er zwei Zifferblätter gefunden hätte, wo Werte angezeigt werden. Das freut mich, ich habe leider gar keins gefunden. Man muss die App auf der Watch tatsächlich wohl manuell starten. Das finde ich ziemlich schwach und ein großer potentieller Mehrwert geht damit verloben.
Update nach einer Woche Nutzung: Sehr reduzierte Funktionen. Das iPhone als großes Display zu nutzen ist fein. Warum man aber die vielen Möglichkeiten ungenutzt lässt, Mehrwerte zu schaffen erschließt sich mir nicht. Keine Watch Applikationen, keine Möglichkeiten irgendwelche Infos zu erfassen, keine Markierungen… Sehr schade.
