MiniPlayer adds to your notification center a powerful widget that allows you to control your music player (iTunes™ and the new Music app) everywhere without open it!

ADVANTAGES OVER THE BUILT-IN WIDGET:

** If you have seen a movie the last time you have used iTunes™, start a song from iTunes™ before using MiniPlayer.
** If player doesn't start, try to click next track button.

Good widget

I like the artwork option. thx

Does not work

The only reason i downloaded the App was the widget functionality and this part does not work with Big Sur 🤷‍♀️

Unfortunately widgets like MiniPlayer can’t be updated for newer macOS like Big Sur and Monterey.
New widgets are really limited and do not offer any kind of interaction, they are a little more then static images dynamically rendered at scheduled intervals.
