Beschreibung

The Montblanc e-Tag key fob combines the timeless design of a Montblanc leather good with new technologies. The e-Tag key fob is attached to a precious item and connected via Bluetooth to your iPhone for preventing loss and theft of your item. The functions include:

* Locate: Items with an attached e-Tag can be located within your proximity.

* Range alarm: When the e-Tag is moved out of your proximity the phone will sound an alarm by playing the Montblanc melody. The app will navgate you to the last seen location of the e-Tag.

* Motion alarm: If your e-Tag is moved, it will give an alarm. This gives an immediate alarm and full control of your items.

* Reconnect alarm: Your phone notifies you if your e-Tag comes into your range again, for example if your checked luggage appears on the carousel.

Safe zones assure that alarms are not triggered when not needed, for example at work or home.

Nicht ausgereift

Der Montblanc Ton, welcher kommen soll bei Bewegung oder Entfernung vom E-Tag, kommt meist nur bei Beenden und neu starten über den App Switcher.
Sonst vibriert das IPhone nur was man eher schlecht mitbekommt.

Nervend und schlecht gemacht

Die Idee ist ja ganz gut, aber….
Jedes Mal, wenn das Handy sich mit dem E-Tag verbindet, gibt es einen Signalton. Dieser lässt sich leider auch nicht abschalten. Dies führt zu circa zehn Meldungen pro Stunde, dass die Verbindung neu aufgebaut wurde. Das nervt!
Die integrierte Bedienungsanleitung lässt sich nicht öffnen.
Es gibt keine Warnung, wenn der Akku des Gerätes fast leer ist.
Zusammenfassend ist das Gerät die 175 € so nicht wert.
Vielleicht wird die App ja aber doch noch mal überarbeitet
