Description
The Abbott Insertable Cardiac Monitor (ICM) is a slim profile device which continuously monitors your heart rhythm and automatically records events of interest as configured by your healthcare provider. The myMerlin™ app securely and proactively transmits information per a schedule set by your healthcare provider. The app’s intuitive user-friendly interface allows you to record symptomatic events, view past and upcoming transmissions and helps you stay connected with your healthcare provider. This makes it easier for your healthcare provider to obtain information about your heart’s rhythm. Some ICM device models include the ability for the device monitoring settings to be updated remotely by a healthcare provider.
This app will only function once paired with an Abbott Insertable Cardiac Monitor, an implantable device available via prescription only.

Quite good
Like the person before me, I found that the automatic transmission does not really work. Otherwise it’s good - at my last annual checkup they found that 11 months prior to that I had had an episode of atrial fibrillation; this might not have been picked up otherwise, especially given that I did not feel it at all. Now I’ve just changed to a new iPhone and somehow that does not seem to connect to the thing. Annoying.

Kein Fehler bei der Einrichtung
Wenn Ihr bei bei der Einrichtung einen Fehler bekommt beim Geburtdatum und Seriennummer, liegt es daran, dass die Klinik Ihr Gerät im Netzwerk - myMerlin PCN - noch nicht registriert hat - Keine Registerierung = die App kann nicht aktiviert werden, da das System nicht weiß wohin die Daten für die Events übermittelt werden sollen.
