TV App nicht in Apple TV verfügbar
Die Technik der App möchte ich an dieser Stelle nicht bewerten. Viel mehr die mangelhafte Verfügbarkeit. Eine TV App, die weder in TV AppStores oder bei Apple TV verfügbar ist, hat den Namen TV App leider nicht verdient. Funktioniert auf dem Tablet, aber man kann leider kein TV am TV gucken ohne Umstände. Da ist Nachholbedarf…
App- und Browserversion funktionieren nicht mehr ab iOS 15
Ich habe die App öfter genutzt und es hat alles einwandfrei funktioniert.
Nach einigen Monaten Pause habe ich erneut versucht, über die App TV zu schauen. Leider funktioniert es nicht mehr (sowohl auf dem iPhone als auch auf dem iPad).
Beide Versionen geben die Fehlermeldung, dass ich nicht im heimischen Netzwerk bin. Ich hatte mit Netcologne hierzu gesprochen, die alles getestet haben und sich diesen Fehler nicht erklären konnten, da die Routereinstellungen in Ordnung waren. Ich habe nun die Browserversion auf einem Windowsrechner ausprobiert, alles lief einwandfrei.
Dementsprechend ist es sehr wahrscheinlich, dass Browser und App sich nicht mit iOS 15 „vertragen“. Ich hoffe, Netcologne nimmt sich bald dieses Problems an.
Icon ist ziemlich altbacken
Tut was sie soll und sieht dabei auch sehr gut aus, nur das App-Icon passt nicht wirklich zum aktuell üblich Flat-Design.
