The Nintendo Switch Online app is designed to help enhance your online gameplay experience on Nintendo Switch™. With this app, you can use voice chat while gaming, see whether your friends are online and use game-specific services!
Game-specific services are currently available for Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Splatoon 2 and Splatoon 3.
A Nintendo Switch Online membership is required to use this app.

◆ Checking the online status of friends
You can use your smart device to check whether your friends are online. You'll also be able to check what games your online friends are playing, and even send friend requests from within this app!
*You will need to use your Nintendo Switch console to accept friend requests and configure other friend settings.
◆ Using voice chat while gaming
When playing online in supported games, you can use voice chat with your friends via this app. How you use voice chat depends on the game and mode you're using - for example, when you split into teams in Splatoon 3, you can choose to use voice chat just with your team members so that friends on the other team won't know your next move.

● A Nintendo Switch console and supported software are required to use this app's services.
● A paid membership to Nintendo Switch Online is required to play online in some Nintendo Switch software and to use some of this app's features.

Gute App, aber es fehlt noch etwas
Die App bietet seit dem letzten Update ein sehr angenehmes Feature, mit dem man endlich seinen Account auf der Switch endlich auch einsehen kann, wenn man nicht an der Konsole sitzt, sie bzw nicht dabei hat. Allerdings finde ich es blöd, dass man sie speziell auf dem iPad nur im Hochformat verwenden kann, da ich das iPad meistens in der Tastaturhalterung habe. Da wäre mir die Lösung lieber, dass man sie wie so wie eine iPhone App verwenden kann, also nicht direkt für‘s iPad angepasst ist. Oder wenn man genug Kapazitäten in der Entwicklung hat, gerne auch eine Version für den Querformat-Modus auf dem iPad, dann würde ich auch der App 5 Sterne geben!
Tolle App.
Ich benutze sie lediglich, um zu sehen, wie meine stats sind, welche arenen gerade am laufen sind, wie oft ich gekillt wurde, etc.
Übersichtlich, einfach zu bedienen. Leider kann ich nur etwas über diese “Funktionen” sagen, aber diese funktionieren einwandfrei und das reicht völlig für mich aus. :-)
Soweit ordentlich
Einen kleinen Verbesserungsvorschlag hätte ich für die App: Kann man es vielleicht so machen, dass man für das SplatFest auch in der App abstimmen kann? Manchmal schafft man es nicht zu Hause zu sein unter der Woche, und dann ist Wochenende und man kann nicht mehr abstimmen das ist mir schon einmal passiert.
Und nein, ich hatte die Switch nicht dabei.
Hatte sie zuhause vergessen.
