Notenik is a simple yet powerful and flexible system for taking, collecting and organizing Notes.
Each Note is stored in its own plain text file. A folder full of Notes becomes a Collection. Create as many Collections as you like, and store them wherever you like. Store them in iCloud Drive, or in your Dropbox folder, and let them sync to your other devices.
Each Note consists of one or more fields: minimally, a Title and a Body, but you can add more, based on your needs for a particular Collection. Use Markdown to format the Body of your Notes (including footnotes, citations, definition lists and Math equations!).
Add Tags to your Notes to see them organized by topic or some other system. Each Note can have multiple tags, and each tag can have multiple levels. Tags are stored within the text files, so they will sync along with your Notes to other devices.
Add a Link field to your Notes and use them as Bookmarks, or simply to reference additional information for a Note.
You can also add Date and Status and Recurs fields to your Notes, and them use them as a To Do system.
Import and export and share your Notes using a variety of different formats.
Notenik is open-source software and free.

Die Markdown-Text-Datenbank
Notenik ist mehr eine Text-Datenbank als eine weitere Markdown-Notiz-App. Alle 'Datenbankeinträge' liegen als reine Textdateien mit Markdown-Formatierung vor,einfach in Ordnern abgelegt. Notenik ist also kein rätselhaftes "Daten-Silo", in denen die Dokumente eingeschlossen sind. Auch lassen sich die Dateien mit anderen Programmen (weiter-)bearbeiten.
In den letzten Wochen kamen sehr viele neue Funktionen hinzu (u.a. Backlinks), so das Notenik sich zu einem neuen PKM - Personal Knowledge Management - Tool entwickeln kann.
Notenik ist nur knapp 45 MB groß und eine native macOS-Anwendung... keine aufgeblähte Electron-CSS-Javascript-App!!
Notenik erinnert mich an MacJournal, nur mit Markdown-Syntax!
Es ist ein übersichtliches, dennoch sehr nützliches Tool für Notizen, persönliches Wissensmanagement und die Organisation von Informationen.
Leider können die meisten Anwender (immer noch) nicht zwischen Inhalt und Layout unterscheiden und versuchen in Word beides.
Dabei kommt es auf das richtige Dateiformat und nicht auf das richtige Programm an.
Und da sind Textdateien (.txt) mit Markdown-Formatierung eindeutig im Vorteil!
Notenik ist also ein guter Start, um meine Notizen, Gedanken & Ideen zu sammeln.
Ich bin jedenfalls auf die weitere Entwicklung von Notenik gespannt!
Great app to sort thougts
1. Dragable sequences (change sort order) would be a great advantage. Sequence numbers would have to change automatically then.
2. Multiple and sortable notes within the same topic (sub sequences) woud be another great thing. Or collect them as dragable notes in a middle pane, like in apple notes app.
You could really collect everything (e. g. brainstorming for projects etc.) and bring them into right order afterwards (sort sequences and notes/sub sequences).
