really cool, but

I really like the limitations of this tracker. and nes rom export sounds awesome! but I did not get to that point yet, because I struggle with the UI a lot. nothing seems to work as expected. for example, I wasn’t able to add more patterns to the song without knowing why. And I cant add more than one note at a time. and deleting a pattern just deletes the notes inside the pattern... the UI really needs some work and I hope you are working on it right now.

not user friendly

I expected more from this app but the UX is not very user friendly, mostly when composing having to long press and then tap multiple places to add a simple note.

it also doesn’t have MIDI keyboard support, something I am surprised about

Thank you for your review and my apologies for the disappointment.

I’m going to work on reducing the friction to adding notes, because I agree it is too much work. My original emphasis was on reducing accidental input, but less friction is more important given that there is already an undo feature and a lock switch in the toolbar.

MIDI support would require a major change to the app. I do want to add it, but it would take me quite a long time. I will keep this in mind for the future though. I have some small updates in the works for the near term, but I’m also working on some under-the-good changes that would make adding MIDI support in the future a little easier.

Sooooo cool 🤩

I am just starting with NES development and haven’t used a Chiptune Maker before so I was very happy when I stumbled upon your app! It is great that you’ve included sample songs, this helps me to get started, I know nothing about music and the theory behind 😅. Now I can compose my first NES songs on my iPhone - so damn cool! Thanks you for this app!
