Description
Oscillator is a simple and rough audio generator application which has the following functions. You can use it as a test tone and play it as a strange musical instrument.
- Four waveforms. (i.e. sine wave, square wave, saw wave and white noise.)
- Exponential Frequency control using the slider.
- Frequency numeric input using the software keyboard.
- Equal distance panning control using the slider.
- dB style amplitude control using the slider.
- Sound output on/off button.
- All sliders and buttons are multi-touch controlled.
Please note the limitations below before you purchase/use this application.
- The frequency control is not effective with the white noise oscillator.
- The panning control is not effective with an iPhone internal speaker because it is monophonic. Use headphones or stereo speakers.
- The audio output might be interrupted on a keyboard input, a view change and so on.
- The accuracy of the audio output is not very high but it is reasonable.

Very basic, aber es funktioniert
Das Programm ist ganz praktisch, um schnell mal einen Eindruck davon zu geben, wie ein Sinus-, Rechteck-, Sägezahn- oder Rauschgenerator klingen. Außer Tonhöhe (Frequenz), Lautstärke und Panning (Position im Stereoraum, hat nur bei angeschlossenem Kopfhörer Sinn) läßt sich nichts regeln.
Es mag auch für einen Musiker praktisch sein, der sein Instrument auf eine bestimmte Frequenz (z.B. auf ein a' mit 442,5 Hz) stimmen will, denn die gewünschte Frequenz kann auf zwei Nachkommastellen genau eingegeben werden.
Perfekt, ich kann unterwegs...
...Boxen testen und im Physikunterricht mit einem Lautsprecher Experimente mit dem Thema Wellen vorführen. Zuverlässiges Programm. Funktioniert bei mir nur über den Klinkenstecker.
Wenn es auch ein kleines Tool ohne großen Schnickschnack ist - ich kann es sehr gut gebrauchen. - Volle Punktzahl.

Ein einfaches Programm dem aber an nichts mangelt außer vielleicht Multitasking unterstützung... Aber so auch schon 5 Sterne wert.
