Overcast really loves podcasts. You can tell. Everything here has clearly been the result of a lot of podcast listening, and the result is an app that does everything you want to do without unnecessary features or unnecessary fuss.
Schlicht der beste Podcast Player im AppStore
Ich habe die meisten Podcast Apps durchprobiert, von Pocketcast bis hin zur Standart Podcast App von Apple und unter all diesen hat mir Overcast mit Abstand am besten gefallen. Alles funktioniert einfach und intuitiv, Apple Watch und Apple CarPlay Anbindung sind ein netter Bonus und kleine Kniffe, wie das automatische Skippen von Intros oder Pausen innerhalb der Folgen, sowie die sympathischen Untertitel der Menus innerhalb der App runden das Packet perfekt ab. Wenn man dann noch bedenkt, dass die ganze App von nur einer Person entwickelt und betreut wird investiert man gerne 10€ im Jahr für die Premium Version, die essenziell nur die Werbung entfernt.
Einziger Vorschlag meinerseits währe das bisherige Premium Modell auf das von Tweetbot umzuwandeln, da man durch die Tips dann selbst entscheiden könnte, ob man bspw. 5€,10€ oder 15€ bezahlen möchte.
Ansonsten von mir eine uneingeschränkte Empfehlung.
Bye Apple Podcast und Spotify
Habe beide genannten Apps lange genutzt und bin mit keiner richtig zufrieden gewesen. Die Option für die Abspielgeschwindigkeit bei Apple Podcasts ist schlicht mangelhaft. Bei Spotify kann man in der Desktop App nicht nach den neues Folgen sortieren und wenn ich meiner Tochter über die App Musilk vorspiele, kann ich nicht getrennt davon Podcats hören. ABER Overcast hat mich hier richtig beeindruckt. Die Abspielgeschwindigkeit lässt sich perfekt einstellen, ich kann Playlists für verschiedene Podcasts erstellen und die Mac App tut was sie soll. Allgemein kann man sich die App so individuell einstellen, dass ich trotz der nicht aufdringlichen Werbung sofort das Abo gekauft habe. Die Watch App ist auch klasse. Gute Anordnung und Übersicht. So muss das sein. Insgesamt top Arbeit der Entwickler, so muss eine Podcast App sein.
