Phoenix makes using bitcoin easy, fast and safe. Payments are nearly instantaneous, and fees are minimal. You can use it to send payments (e.g. buy a cup of coffee), receive payments, and store your bitcoin safely for day-to-day spending.
The bitcoin lightning network means faster payments and smaller fees. Lightning is 100% bitcoin - an open standardized payments layer, engineered to improve speed while maintaining security and decentralization. And Phoenix makes it possible for everyone to use. Lightning channels are managed for you automatically. And inbound liquidity is automatically handled too. If you don't know what any of that means, then this is the wallet for you!
Phoenix is a non-custodial wallet, and is fully open source. It was created by ACINQ, one of the pioneering companies in the bitcoin lightning network. And the same company that runs the largest lightning node in the world.

Beste Lightning wallet
Grösster Vorteil ist das Splicing und die volle Kontrolle über die Funds durch eigne Seed-Phase. Bei Bedarf kann man einfach mit „Drain wallet“ wieder vom Lightning in die Blockchain zurückkehren. Das Channel managmet ist auch gut gelöst, als Laie ist es fast unmöglich die Channel alleine zu managen. Wer sich über Gebühren bei Bitcoin Überweisung wundert, sollte bedenken, dass die Gebühren von Kreditkarten im Preis inkludiert sind. Ein Verkaufspreis sind immer die Gebühren enthalten. Genauso wie man immer versandkosten bezahlt, auch bei lieferflat.
Die Zukunft!
App hat schon fast alles was man in der Zukunft benötigt. Bald gibt es Nachahmer und Konkurrenz belebt ja bekanntlich das Geschäft.

Mit phoenix hat man als Bitcoiner endlich ein Werkzeug einfach, schnell und vor allem selbstverantwortlich Zahlungen via Lightning abzuwickeln.
Im Gegensatz zu anderen Easy-to-use-Apps hält man seinen eigenen Schlüssel (Mnemonic) und hat somit im Notfall immer Zugriff auf seine Satoshi.
Das macht Phoenix zum perfekten Tool, No-Coiner die Funktionsweise und Einfachheit des Lightningnetzwerks, als auch auf die Notwendigkeit der Eigenverantwortung aufzuzeigen.
Das Chanelmanagement wurde komplett ausgelagert was die Benutzung sehr vereinfacht. Und auch das wird permanent weiterentwickelt und effizienter gestaltet (Splicing - hoffentlich bald auf iOS)
