Note: All instruments run in demo mode (with some keys disabled) until you purchase a Pianoteq STAGE license (unlocks two instruments) or link to an existing Pianoteq user account with a valid license. Licenses purchased on the App Store are valid across other supported platforms (macOS, Windows, Linux).

- The app now creates a virtual MIDI input, allowing it to receive MIDI events from other iOS sequencers without using the AUv3 plugin.

Prepare to be amazed!
Habe auf iOS früher unzufrieden mit Ravenscroft, Pure Piano, Korg etc. herumgespielt. Pianoteq 8 ist natürlich eine völlig andere Liga aus dem Profibereich, die nun endlich auch unverändert (!!!) für iOS vorliegt und die Stärken des iOS-Systems durch Physical Modeling ausnutzt – Rechenstärke statt Speicherplatz eben!
Mit einem vernünftigen Controller (z.B. Arturia Keylab 88 + DT 1990 Pro) fühlt sich Pianoteq wirklich wie ein Instrument an und es reagiert auch so, nicht wie eine in weiten Teilen klanglich vorgegebene Sample-Bibliothek. Genial!
Wichtig: Um so richtig am Klang zu schrauben bzw. diesen live in allen seinen Nuancen durch MIDI-Controller zu beeinflussen, braucht man die Standardversion (260 Euro) und nicht die Stageversion (160 Euro). Man kann dann wirklich alle möglichen Parameter verändern bis hin zur Position der Mikros im virtuellen Studio und man kommt einer echten Performance am präparierten Flügel sehr, sehr nahe ... irre!

Endlich habt ihr die Version für iOS veröffentlicht. Großartig.
Ich nutze Pianoteq 8 schon seit vielen Jahren auf dem Mac Rechner und bin immer wieder fasziniert davon, wie gut die Klaviersimulation über Physical Modeling funktioniert. Mit dieser iPad Iphone Version hat man jetzt einen wirklich professionellen Klavierklang per USB am Keyboard und vor allen Dingen keine Latenz Probleme, denn viele andere eh Pianos wie Raven 275 kann man nicht soweit in der Latenz runter setzen wie Pianoteq. Das ist ein entscheidender Vorteil, wenn man mit dem iPad live spielen möchte. Endlich hat man das Gefühl, wie bei einem normalen E Piano den Sound auch herstellen zu können. Auch alle anderen Sounds die man noch hinzu kaufen kann, wie zum Beispiel dass Rhodes Piano oder das Vibraphon sind wirklich hervorragend. Ich bin sehr gespannt, was zukünftig bei Pianoteq 8 funktioniert. Tolle Arbeit und jeden Cent wert.
Das beste Piano nun für iOS
Ob es das Beste ist, ist natürlich auch eine Geschmacksfrage. Dennoch gehört Pianoteq zur Elite der virtuellen Klaviere und ist mindestens state of the art.
Die Version fürs iPad (und iPhone) steht der Desktop-Version in nichts nach. Die Bedienung und der Sound sind identisch. Der Preis ist absolut fair, die meisten Nutzer werden auch die Mac-Version haben, womit die iOS-Variante kostenlos ist. Bzw. steht einem nach dem Kauf der iOS-Version die Desktop-Variante zur Verfügung.
Vielleicht könnte man für Neukunden eine abgespeckte Instrumentensammlung anbieten.
